  • Thanks for the review, I want to put some night sights on mine any help with information????

  • @truckie118 Sorry for the delay in replying. The Trijicon TS01 is a good choice, about average price and they are pretty bright. I am not sure if they make the XS 24/7 sights for the PT line up, if so those are a good choice as well. Hope this helps. PM me if you would like more info.

  • Good gun. Taurus does get a bad rap, but you'd never know what it was if you saw one in the dark. Puts them down range just just as good as any of my other firearms. If it's all you can afford, don't sweat it, it's not that bad. Just always, always, always take it out to a range before you trust it.

  • @12ealDeal I agree 100%. Thanks commenting and watching!

  • say man where did you get those training rounds?

  • @jackmylantern These are A-Zoom Precision Snap Caps, I got them off Amazon actually. I think they were about $15. A little pricey, but a great training tool. I haven't had any issues with them feeding. They also make a great tool for simulating a firing malfunction. Hope this helps, thanks for watching.

  • My brother and I both bought new Pro milleniums last year, both of us had problems with jamming ect..( PLUS THOSE HEINIE8 SIGHTS BLOW!!!!)Called Taurus- NO HELP AT ALL! A friend brought his baby Glock27 40 cal. and let us shoot it-UNBELIEVABLE DIFFERENCE. Sold our Tauruses(lost money) And both now carry the Glock27s- shot thousands of rounds-NOT ONE PROB EVER!!! I'm not saying Glock is best, but we learned our lesson on why you pay a little more for a quality gun- YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!!!

  • Oh btw buy a xdm 3.8 .40 worth every extra penny. I'll end up selling this because once you shoot the xdm you can't imagine wasting ammo in this thing again.

  • I've owned one of these for 5 or more years and honestly I can't wait to get rid of it. I've got huge hands so it's not that comfortable but besides that I've NEVER visited a range with this thing and not got at least 1 FTF. Also my frame got a hairline crack above the trigger and this thing has never been a carry piece and never even been dropped so I have to assume it came from poor manufacturing and not being designed to handle it's only objective, shooting. Now I have to pay $100 in ffl mai

  • Ive had nothing but taurus firearms since i was a young child ive had a pt 92 9mm since i was 8 years old i am now 19 and have shot 20,000+ rounds and havent replaced a single part in it. People may hate on Taurus but honestly, best hand gun ever made hands down ( for those of you thinking to start an argument with me on it, shove it up your ass till you cant breathe because i dont care what you think :D have a nice day and god bless!)

  • I have just purchased this weapon in April 2011 and the saftey flaw associated with the saftey/trigger pull, HAS BEEN FIXED!!!! I can pull the trigger all the way back (before point of fire), engage the safety and the firearm WILL NOT FIRE!!! Problem solved!

  • @pctech1887 Yeah, I had heard that the safety issue had been corrected on later models. However, there are still lots of people out there with older ones that dont realize the safely concerns. Taurus will install the updated safety for free, but turn around time takes about a month. Thanks for post and for watching.

  • Good observation on the safety flaw. Might have saved someones life. Thanks.

  • That was a good review. Thanks, Joe.

Gonna check if you have a range vid.

  • Thank you for pointing out the issue with the trigger slightly depressed while engaging the safety. I just purchased this gun and this is very good information considering it's my very first firearm. Kudos!

  • i recently bought a pt140 pro and i love it. after watching the video i tried to depress the triger slightly and turn the safety on. as far as i can tell through the reseach i have done they fixed the problem because it is not a issue on my gun. great video. i really liked it. you never know enough.

  • Love my PT140. Never had any problems firing anything from Federal. My primary defesive round is Speer GD 155gr. Very easy to carry IWB.

  • you are correct about the safety prob. w/ slightly depressed trigger once safety is on the gun will still fire......also i use federal hydro-shok jhp i have never had a feed prob. i shoot weekly. i love this firearm for concealed carry i trust it w/ my life---great vid

  • @datlocc44 Agreed! Fed Hydros are great rounds. Thanks for watching.

  • Im gonna try some winchester fmj this weekend and see how that goes. the last mag i shot only jammed once out of the ten so maybe its just needs to be broke in. Ive only got 100 rounds through it.Other than that its an awesome gun feels awesome in your hand and is super accurate for the barrel length.

  • I had a question for u. I bought the brass jacketed cheapest ammo for the weapon that academy carries. The first clip i shot jammed about 4 times out of ten, and continued to jam but did jam less the farther i got along. Is this a break in deal or is the firearm possibly defective?

  • @stumbalinna Have you shot any other ammo through it? When I first got my PT140, the only feed issues I had were with hollow points, fmj shot fine. JHP jammed at a rate of about 50%, it was very frustrating. but after about 500 rds shot, it started feeding everything without failure. I hope this helps.

  • @stumbalinna with anything it needs to be broken in just make sure your give it a 500 rd "grace" period before having any major concerns and even then contact taurus lifetime warrenty baby!!!

  • They have fixed the safety malfunction. Picked one up today and u can pull the trigger a little and engage the safety and the gun will not fire. So they have fixed the issue.

  • @stumbalinna Thats awesome, thanks for the update! I will have to give them a call on Monday and see if they will do a retro fix for mine. Thanks again!

  • I was impressed with this gun. Good vid.

  • @louburna It shot nice right? I told you dude! Its a nice solid little piece.

  • cool been looking at this gun at the shop the 9mm ver

  • Nice weapon! Great VId

  • @052187ful Yeah its not too bad, thanks for watching!
