his helmet is probably used for the inventory menu, his health, and stamina. we just see it in a different view. put urself in isaacs helmet. it doesnt work if you cant see your HP or stamina count on your back.

he must have basic info on his helmet. i.e master chief

@thatguyeighteight i think the inventory is just a reflection from the front of the suit (you should see it) or a projection, and the suit looks very poor to give him a HUD last thing he needs is for some info popping up, but master chief is a spartan. the only thing i can think of is that the health meter on his back sends a sting or something to warn him about low health
