I was at this show, after the show I talked to Aaron for a good hour and he is so genuine and real, it blew my mind. He inspired me to open my heart to Jesus and I did, my life has never been the same. Aaron Weiss really knows Jesus, that's all I have to say. If you ever have a chance to talk with him do it, he's so wise. Thank God for people like him that actually care about being an example of Christ even with his status as a well known artist and musician.

I love mewithoutyou, my roommate was in Showbread for years and toured with them, but I don't know whats going on with the Allah thing.

I read in an interview of Arron Weiss and said his parents are Sufi Muslims (muslim mysticism), but that he loves Jesus.

The Heavenly Father can be called many things, Allah is not one of them. Allah is Islam's god & didn't love you enough to die for you or enter your life (but we need to kill infidels and appostates and die for him?).

The Muslims say Jesus never claimed to be The Christ or God and is just a prophet of Allah. The Quran quotes Jesus over and over but leaves out John 4:19-26, to the woman at Jacob's well who asks ''who is the Christ?'' and Jesus responds "I am He". They completely ignore and deny Jesus' divinity.

We do not worship the same god because my God is real and I only know Him because He revealed Himself to us, not man figuring Him out. The Father doesn't "=" Allah.

I like when people think deeply into the things of The Lord, but its things like hearing 'we all worship the same god' or muslims say 'that Allah=Elloh' (in which they added the 'loh') that are decieving people and turning them AWAY from Christ.

Elohiem (el-o-heem) is plural for God and used in Genesis 1:1 (hinting the Trinity).

In Exodus 3:13: "what is His name?" v14 "I AM WHO I AM... I AM has sent me to you".

I suggest looking up the origin of the name 'El' often used for God in the old testament (eg el shaddai or elohim). This originally was the name of the chief god of the canaanite pantheon (though this role was replaced by the god baal in later canaanite writings). However in hebrew scripture, God doesn't seem to have a problem with being referred to as 'El'

At first I was freaking out about the title of this song, but I learned that Allah is just another word for God in arabic. I learned something new from them! But I think the main reason why people freak out (like what I did) with the word Alllah is because Allah has been catergorized as for "Muslims" for many generations. It's true, Allah is used by Arabic Christians. No one disputes that. It's the root of the word that people have a problem with. actually its funny you should mention that we dont call God 'baal' within the christian faith. When I was at bible college I did an essay on comparisons between Judaism and the canaanite religion. Baal was the specific name for that specific deity within the canaanite pantheon. Well Aaron comes from a Sufi Background. I think the point is that God is God no matter how much of him you can see or whatever your language calls him. The most anyone can see of God is an infinitely small fraction of what God truly is so lets all put our heads together in love to try and figure out what God is while at the same time realizing we will never get it.
