As a Harley fan I don't mind the new look. It kind of looks like the Joker called her while she was still in bed or something and she didn't have time to get her jester stuff together so she just threw on her "casual" clothes, slapped on some face paint and charged out the door. Batman doesn't wait for a girl to doll herself up you see.

I know I'm in the minority but I like seeing more of Harley AWAY from the Joker. She's had some great "anti-hero" moments before so hopefully we'll see more.

She got her Phd through blackmail after a psychological experiment went wrong (which involved her lover Guy Kopski), But again her back story differs depending on whether you read the comics/graphic novels or if you watch the tv show. The way I perceive Harley Quinn WITHOUT make-up is this: ROCKING body, ROCKING booty, EPIC titties and SADISTIC personality but she isn't that hot underneath the make-up. However, her PERSONALITY makes up for it. She is a kinky character who thrives off of her make-up, much like Joker gets his kick from his make-up and scars. CAT-WOMAN, on the other hand, is sexy without the suit and sadistic and crazy but she isn't exactly as 'evil' as Harley, Harley is WAY more evil.

@warlordbabe Sorry, I shoulda' been more clear. I'm referring to 'The Dark Knight's' Joker (Heath's portrayal). I mean, he is bat-shit crazy with or without make-up (he isn't wearing any in the parade scene when he attempts to shoot the mayor) but at the same time, I believe he tries to vivify his image and scars WITH his make-up. I love trying to tap into the psychology of villains in the Batman universe. Think about Heath's portrayal....He would be rejected by society simply by appearance.

@warlordbabe And on a side-note, I think The Joker's 'background' in the Dark Knight is brilliant. Why? Because he'll lie about it. Or maybe he'll tell the truth. You never know with The Joker. How did he get his scars? You can try to base it off the comic-book conclusions, but then again, Nolan isn't doing a paint-by-numbers portrayal of this. He follows the characters and studies them but he isn't going to copy a story completely. The Joker's background is a mystery, adding to his character.

@EventuallyWeMerge I agree with you. It seems like Nolan's Joker has a whole different backstory compared to comic book Joker. We don't know for sure if he's lying or not. Heath's Joker gives different accounts of how he got his scars, Nolan could be taking inspiration from the graphic novel The Killing Joke. In that novel The Joker clearly states that sometimes he remembers his past one way and sometimes he remembers it another way.

He clearly shows some stress about you hear it in his voice, it doesn't seem that he's faking it. But then again he's pretty crafty so he could be lying, it's hard to tell. Another to take into consider it the difference of his scars. One of his scars is very clean cut and pricise whilst the other is botched and untidy. This could suggest the scars were done by two people.

What's good about the new Harley is that she actually now looks like a harlequin, looks like a cross between the Animated Series outfit and the Arkham Asylum outfit and sill looks hot! I'd say the only downside is that she has removed her eye mask which I thought looked really good in the first game and would fit well in this game :( Still, as long as Harley is in the game, I'm happy :) Can't wait to find out if Catwoman is actually a playable character!!

@warlordbabe Wait what? Poison Ivy cannot be back in Arkham. As far as I am aware, they moved ALL patients to Arkham City due to the destruction caused by Joker and Ivy. Mainly Ivy. It wouldn't be hard to set up a cell for her over there. And it would be safer seeing how if she did get out again, she has nothing green wise to fuck everything up. That being said, I don't think she will play a big part in the game, or at least similar to the last.Doesn't mean she can't get featured though.
