I have both as well, and I can't support your argument. The iPhone has a lot going for it, but it also is harder to use in terms of iTunes and the App Store. I dislike being tied to my PC every time I want to put some music on my phone or download an app.

Further, requiring WiFi to download anything on your iPhone is a weird and useless restriction. Why do I have 3G if I need WiFi for iTunes? Further, you can completely customise Android WITHOUT any quickpwning. Android Market > iTunes.
