I related to about 95% of the questions. That's because all people can relate to these questions, at some point in their life, and other at other points. These are normal things for humans to do and feel. That's why it's a diabolical test. It's mean to make you feel singled out and powerless. It's ridiculous.
But of course Plaid knows that, since they pulled it from the Scientology test. It's probably what the song is about: the images are about leading people astray, harming, or corrupting.
mm of lbp 2 are sorry music/ art geeks lke myself and it makes me laugh that young kids are playing a game and listening to plaid, squarepuser and trentmoller. if only the goverment could educate so well!
Great song, great video, but the questions are from the famous Scientology-cult test.
No matter how you answer the questions, you will be considered as a sad person who needs "help", or as we call it Brainwashing. and the theme of this video, is clearly BRAINWASHING IS BAD, and those who do that are EVIL
i confirm it! great message, gr8 impact, gr8 people, and gr8 music.. It worsen my state but make me stronger and ponder more upon things and about myself..
most songs get 2 or 3 tunes that fit together and sound good when plaid at the same time-plaid is the only group i know that hits 4 tunes going all at once, you should notice it at the high point of zeal- and somewhere on this one
... This is of course so that they can then format your emotions and reprogram you into giving them all your money and attacking any of this dangerous cult's opposition.
The song doesn't fit at all. Don't get me wrong, I love Plaid, but it might've been better with a BoC song. As it is, it's clashing and the text becomes heavy-handed and pretentious.
The questions is from a standard psycology test, and actually, those taking thiese tests tends to find likeness to the questions more when asked. So... Plaid jus tplays on that I think. =P
yeah, i'd go with the alienation, though my take is that it's self induced as a reaction to people/ modern society. doubt the whole overwhelming technology thing is part of the message
The message of this video is directed to those who actually feel associated with those questions and gets them to reflect about them.
Those questions are taken from a pychologycal test; probably for employees and, most likely, for a Japanese corporation where they expect to identify employees with problems that may not be fully productive.
Anybody who might feel depressed, anxious, empty, etc. will get the message. Like me ;)
The impact of this video is just incredible. It's brilliant.
If you feel attracted to these questions, you are likely in doubt of yourself. People who are in that state of mind are often sensative for mass hypnoses and hypes.
sbdem1986's comment has more insight than yours, goodsirknight. I've seen these questions on [non-Scientlogist] personality tests...
So...
Maybe you're right goodsirknight but you'll see a lot of similarities between many personality tests... If what you want to do is attack Scientology, look not at their personality tests but pesky marketing practices (i.e. phone calls all day 'reminding' you of your next audit, sending you their weekly magazines, etc.) among other things. Weak attempt.
@sbdem1986 Damn i can't agree more with you dude .. I found this one night i could't sleep and the questions made some sense for me .. don't know why maybe i'm a little touched by i don't know but great movie and some good music for listning to at night .. Oh yay and a little puff before makes it so much better ! Peace & 420 !
to be truthful, plaid never were IN blackdog, blackdog was a collabarative name used by plaid, balil and a few other names for their releases, check out the back of the first black dog album
