Curious, how long is the battery life? Not that one usually leaves their light on all night or anything.

The county comm website has the stats listed as: Medium Mode, 18 lumen output for 4 Hours Low Mode, 1.5 lumen output for 50 Hours High Mode, 80 lumen output for 48 Minutes

They also now have a next gen maratac AAA , with 2 modes but brighter AND longer life:

Low mode, 1.5 lumens output for upto 50 hours

High mode, 115 lumens output for upto 65minutes

@TheLordHumungus That looks awesome for EDC, thanks for the gear tip. I looked and I see that they have an AA one also. I may get one in AA because all my lights are AA now. I recently went this way so I only need to purchase one size of battery and don’t spend a small fortune on CR123’s. You’re right newer LED made that possible.

I realize it's not the same width but the Mini Quark (4-7s) offers more features like high and low beckon as well as SOS. both I find highly important.

True it doesn't have every feature out there, but it's also half the price of the quark. I use this for an EDC light, and don't really need all the advanced tactical features. I can honestly say I have never once wished I had a beacon/strobe or SOS feature.

I have shopped county comm a few times and I am jus now seeing this light... WTF!? LOL I REALLY like the copper one but a bit pricey compared to the har anodized black one...

I would be more interested if it came in a push button so I could make it flicker from max light to dark in a half second or so to keep my pupils dilated in the dark but still catch movement or other patterns. It does seem very good though and your opinions carry alot of weight with me. You always seem to have very well thought out plans and vids, thank you.

Yeah it can't do everything, but for my purposes it was just what I was looking for. For the price it can't be beat.

My favorite is the Surefire E1L, but the price has gone into nosebleed territory. I've been a fan of led flashlights since the blue light days, 115 lumens of clean white light from a little AAA battery is amazing. Kudos to Maratac.
