no i would not recommend this. I had two of these subs........one of them lasted 2 months the other almost lasted a full year. Both ended up with blown voice coils, no warranty, now im left with 2 useless drivers. just purchased a 15" Fi Q sub and it is so much better
@indk@indk Have you tried to get them reconed, not to sure about your subs but most subs can get reconed. Try this guy "forevrbumpn" he is a true BADASS, if he can't do it maybe there is no hope after all. Best of luck fellow bass head!
box is 3 times to big for sealed, becuse of impedience rise from peaks from the box, cabin gain i the vehicle, and the larger size will reduce mechanical limits of sub, a box that size could work in a house but isstill prob too large. you could get better response from a smaller box
This one of the new LMS-R with titanium cone? What kind of power are you using... These subs have strong motor force which is best in SMALLER sized enclosures. I think you might have been looking at the wrong specs. you're going to want no bigger than 2.5cubes ported and 1.3cubes sealed. I say this from experience because I also run a single 12" tc sounds axis (neo).
@NM31 Its actually an Audiopulse but it has a titanium tc sounds cone on it. Its powered by a phoenix gold 1000watt RMS. Im about to try a smaller box and see how it sounds

indk,
Fi voice coil are made from the exact same company as TC's. And blown voice coils are not covered by any manufacture.

just 1 sub? and in that big a box? you could get more power and tighter sound from 2 12s in a sealed box, and actually have a trunk
