@NancyToday I haven't! Good to hear someone has gotten word or a package from her. As far as I know, no one has heard from her in a long while! Do let me know if she sends you a message!
What a very nice review, Kat! I can attest that Oreo does really great work with her crochet pieces. On behalf of the crafters who do such handiwork, Thank you SO much for adding the time, effort, and $ involved in making these items. So many people forget that sometimes and expect to get these original pieces for the cost of the material alone. I think that the price Oreo will be asking for these is very reasonable. :o)
@SpiritWhiteFox2 Thank YOU!!!! I try to buy local and handmade whenever I can. So many people have such amazing talent, and never get recognized for it because of the whole megalomania issue. Oreo's work is truly amazing. She has really inspired me to crochet more!!!!! I try to give handmade too. For Xmas this year, my friends got homemade vanilla bean sugar and cocoa butter lavender bath salts. When things are handmade, you know it is made with love!!!
@SweetbabyNicoleLol Thankfully, no hater idiots yes. I know YT can be a breeding ground for negativity and hate, but my viewers and subscribers have all been amazing. The support and encouragement I get from all of you is so uplifting and kind! I have the BEST subscribers!!!!
I found the measurements on that, 11" x 11" before the lace, so probably 12.5" x 12.5" with the lace.
And on the Super Sudsing Soap Saver Thinga Majigy, I have alot of them made that I haven't gotten listed yet, so I might have a color in there that is more your style =) I won't even go into the different colors of yarn I have available LOL! But Im sure to have what anyone likes =)
@Oreocremerocks Thanks so much Oreo! The handkerchief is so elegant and beautiful! I am still looking through my yarn to try my hand and making a SSSSTM myself. I still have the very first needle my grandmother gave me when I was about....oh 6 I would say. I use it for all my projects that call for that size. It is a G or H I believe. I will let you know how it comes out! And really, colour doesn't matter. It is a great project for using scrap yarn, I think!
Oh my Gosh Kat! Thank You so much for that beautiful review. I am so glad you like it Hun. You are right about it being around for along time, one of the reason's I picked cotton instead of linen, it just last and last. There are cotton pieces in our family that is over 200 years old.
Monograms= I see 3 Options,1 I could hand embroider it, which would add to the turn around time a bit, 2there is an embroider shop near me, or 3 I could find one that is already done, and just add the lace to it.
@Oreocremerocks I can't imagine how long my wedding handkerchief has been around! When taken care of properly, cotton linens can last and last! We still have some bed linens that are from my great grandmother's trousseau. She made them when she was a young girl and brought them to America from Ireland just before she was married.
