@peymaania We don't care about how old she is, maybe you think she's attractive. Anyway close your eyes it's not supposed to be watch but to be heard.You might hear her but you dont listen do you?
Titania is NOT supposed to be played by an 18 year old!
Stunning performance.
I think I'll work on studying this piece for my next recital.
And what in the world is Pinecloud talking about?? "ROCK" background?? Where is Rock and Roll even remotely heard in this performance??? Though, the person can't spell, so I suppose it goes without saying that it makes no sense what they are saying!
Purchase of DVD album should be avoided. I abhor and despise the condustorNicholas Kok. A way too loud harpsichord with wrong choir disposition setup ruining subtlety of Henry Purcells music. Maybe that he was trying to reserve his seat as a keyboard player in orchestra as clavicinist and omitted or stole many parts for theorbo I doubt that Nicholas Kok if he is a true artist like Sir J. E. Gardiner CBE? or Kok is just another egocentric exhibitionist from rock musick background?
@JPD060486 Yes indeed. Not every voice is capable and suited to sing (almost) without vibrato. Especially in this old music I like the non-vibrato sound. I heard Catherine Bott doing so without sounding unnatural
simply beautiful . thanks a lot for sharing. Love .

Beautiful, a little too much vibrato to my opinion, but very musically sung
Magnificent song, one of the greatest composers ever

I think it is that the vibrato is so fast which might bother you.

GRACIAS PURCELL, BELLISIMO

From the description of one of the videos of my dear Eser (civileso):
O let me weep, for ever weep,
My Eyes no more shall welcome Sleep;
I'll hide me from the sight of Day,
And sigh, and sigh my Soul away.
He's gone, he's gone, his loss deplore;
And I shall never see him more.
