After almost a year, the overall response on Aion forums+fansites has been negative. There have been massive "server merges" due to a severe lack of players, resulting in only 5-6 US servers remaining (one can only imagine what happened to all the people who had similar names).

PvE-wise the game has nothing amazing to offer. In desperation, Aion is resorting to shit like Veteran Rewards rewarding you stuff for every extra month you add to your game time.

Just enjoy Aion while it lasts.

I just disagreed with the OP, that because they look shinyer they MUST BE GOOD, and the visually darker people, BUST BE BAD, so the game is Good Against the evils, when its just one struggling faction against another.

Technically, that will probably be true. However, from what I've seen of beta videos, from afar, everyone kind of look similar to one another anyways. I think this is due to the art design of the armors being so similar in style. That and the facial customization isn't noticeable unless you're standing close to one another. At the distance most are zoomed out, the characters still look similar imho.

I just wanted to start by sayin, WoW has never had a feature where you could have both Horde and Alliance accounts on my server to run the Auction House. This reivew is prety much terrible when the opening is a guy saying "uhhhhhhm" *smacks lips* "uhhmmmmm" *smacks lips again* "uhmmmmm". Took you 3 minutes to get passed the first 2 screens in Aion.

Ummmm WoW always had it that you cant have a toon from both factions on the same PVP!!!! server. PvE server yes. And its not for the "gold" is because in a pvp server they dont want it that you can log on a toon from the other faction find out where a certain person you are looking for is at and then jump on your main faction and mess with them.

to anyone whos played the beta or knows the game: How big is the game world compared to WoW? this game could have the best visual, etc and have everything right but if the game world is small its gonna suck. The very same problem plagues Age of Conan: the game world is very very small.. the size of a couple wow countries (not continents, but the countries inside).
