  • i need english translation please

  • @benzai2 See the Description. I just added them X3

  • @KazukiMakabe thanks

  • Sadly, this anime is as good as Evangelion... however since the plot wasn't as controversial as "God is evil! Let's kill angels!"... it didn't get that much atention -.-

  • @GodsEaterAldath - add to that the whole series was supercharged to the point that any character development was lost in translation. Too bad, it has a good plot and characters whose story lines could be expanded to make them even more memorable.

  • @GodsEaterAldath actually the whole "Angel" thing had nothing to do with the bible it,s just a naming theme.

it was established the angels where created but it was ambiguous if they where made by god or aliens.

  • @GodsEaterAldath Actually, I prefer Brain Powerd over Evangelion.

  • this is probably one of the best op's I've ever heard

  • how can anyone dislike this song....

  • @ntoken

    people with no ears

  • play one more time 0:00 and another 0:00 and another 0:00 and another 0:00 and another 0:00 and another 0:00 and another 0:00 and another 0:00 and another 0:00 and another 0:00 and another 0:00 and another 0:00 and another 0:00 and another 0:00 and another 0:00 and another 0:00 and another 0:00

    play it forever

  • who sing this?

  • ZICK ZEON

  • for years is still playing in my head....... argh......

  • OH GOD THE SONG HURTS

but it is still bloody awesome

  • i love the theme song!!this is the song i dream of singing!

  • @xyzchx03

thats because he wasn't depressed tomino, nothing good comes from happy tomino.

  • @fatedcomrade Turn A Gundam.

    Your opinion is moot.

  • @PSIground

    and Overman King Gainer, too

  • @fatedcomrade Also in my opinion Victory was the only superb thing to come out of depressed Tomino.

  • @fatedcomrade ur ryt!

  • The artwork in it is absolutely terrible.

In super robot wars, the character cut outs and animations look like fanart compart to some of the other series.

The story just gets incredibly boring...it's Tomino, but it doesn't tie well together like Z Gundam or Dunbine.

The song is bloody excellent, though, which is why I am here.

"I can't get enough your love!", incase you didn't know.

  • 吉翁萬歲

  • Brain Powered is one of the most awesome mecha anime series that I've ever watched. And I just recently known that Yoshiyuki Tomino and those guys at Sunrise (the makers of the Gundam series) made this anime.

  • The goodness of the music itself aside, I blushed when I knew what the song meant.XD

  • @Izumabakumatsu

After reading this, I decided to seek out the lyrics myself. I feel embarassed that I sing this to myself sometimes, now.

  • @krawky398 Is it really that bad? I myself have never looked them up... ^ ^; I just thought it sounded nice.

  • @KazukiMakabe

Well, like Izuma said, they are a bit blush-worthy once you actually know they mean. It doesn't change how amazing the song is, though.

  • @krawky398 I see. I'll take your word for it, ^ ^ but you're definitely right about it being a great song. :D

  • T-T

  • The soundtracks of this anime seriously rock.

  • i ma boessesed with this song, SRWJ like burning it into my mind, and the actual song is even better

...but whatever you do don't look up the english lyircis thing.. seriously...

  • somebody have a video in live of the singer?

  • I agree. what a powerful voice and the song ROCKS!

  • Such a shame that Brain Powerd only had the music and the mecha designs going for it. Nagano designing the mecha was the only thing that made me even give it a chance, and boy did I hate it :/

  • Catchy frigging song, no doubt, but I gotta say something here: What's up with Hime's torso in the first pic? The anatomy was just way off.

  • @JackgarPrime Oh God, You're right about that picture! D:

  • @Ashsaber5 Fucking anatomy, how does it work?

  • SRW J recently got a translation, and playing it, IT WON'T LET THIS SONG LEAVE MY DAMNED HEAD.

  • @KaosMachina yeah and i finally found SRWJ and the brain powered are my favorite units cause their evasiv rate so damn high^^

  • @KaosMachina Haha, you too? J totally made me want to watch this show. Wonder if that's why companies toss their shows into SRW...

  • @KaosMachina i cant find the english translation..where did u got it???

  • @xyzchx03 look for "The Romhacking Aerie"

  • I love this song!

  • 吉翁萬歲

  • The singer has a very powerful voice. love it!

  • @RabbitSlayer3 Ah, the days before pitch-correction.

  • @TheGzeus Pretty sure they had pitch-correction when this anime was made.

  • Speaking of A.C.E. Kazuki, I'm going to guess you haven't heard of A.C.E. R (Another Century's Episode Reverse) being announced for 2010 (most likely summer). Cast list is:

Orguss, Zeta Gundam, Char's Counterattack,Gundam Seed Destiny, King Gainer, Full Metal Panic, Code Geass R2,Aquarion, Macross Zero, Macross Frontier

  • Note: only 1-3 PLAYABLE units (all variations count as 1 unit) and mostly instrumental themes; very few vocals aside from main theme. Also, AMAZING GRAPHICS! Oh yeah, and PS3. Hope you have one!

  • @starqo

Man thats too bad...i just put in some hard earned cash in my Japanese PS2 xD

Well, its another goal to shoot for I guess ^^. Sounds really good too!

I really want to try code geass and full metal panic =3

  • @KazukiMakabe No you can play it on PS2 if we are talking about the @ series or GBA or DS for A,D,J,K,W,L(not out yet)

  • @starqo No, its also on Alpha 2 and 3 plus J so no you can use the BP units if you have a japanese PS2(or swap magic) or a gameboy(any version).

  • @supersaninpikachu

    I'm lost.

And Brain Powerd wasn't in Alpha 3. Just Alpha 2 and J.

  • @starqo My bad.

  • Yes, Brain Powerd IS awesome! It doesn't have flashy special effects or over-the-top mecha battles, but the characters and the story - not to mention the overall message - are just plain awesome!

    And Hime Utsumiya rocks. Period.

  • @LilyNadesico

Although this kind of pointless, to point this out, in Alpha 2, Yuu is treated as the main character, while in J, Hime is. Ironic given that Hime Brain is on the Alpha 2 cover, and on the J cover is Yuu's Nelly Brain.

  • @LilyNadesico the ending is kinda.....ugh....plain

  • @Robant100 Well... yes, you could say that the ending is somewhat anticlimatic, but considering the tone of the series and its message, I was expecting it, so I was not disappointed. Sure, maybe a nice big final battle with Baron Maximillian's Hyper Baronz would have been good, but I was happy with what I saw.

  • @LilyNadesico If you wanna watch ecchi its an OK series but im still gonna love gaogaigar, GUY SHISHIRO FOREVER!.

  • @supersaninpikachu There's nothing Ecchi about Brain Powered, apart from the opening animation.

  • @ArkRiley

    That's true.

Though honestly, the opening really doesn't fit that well with the series. I mean, sure, there is an overall vague theme of pregnancy, childbearing, and mother-child relationships throughout the whole series, but I really didn't feel that having a bunch of naked women flying around in strange environments made for a good opening video. It's like it intentionally boosted it's rating to "mature audiences", where it was otherwise a pretty clean show.

  • @shiberude That's pretty standard for most mecha shows, nowadays. I mean, look at SEED Destiny.
