just buy a cheap drill and a 8mm drill bit. most likely its not going to be your lock your picking so who care's :L plus finger prints on drill not lock ;).

@scouser96100 Yes, similar technique though. Super light tension and then the proper amount of force in the gun need to be applied. On most guns, there is a gear on the side that can be adjusted to the proper amount of force.

I just got a set of picks in the mail today, and as cool as they are the truth is they don't hold a candle to my crow bar. They are very fiddly and contrary to popular belief a crowbar doesn't make alot of noise when used properly so they are a little pointless, also if you are interrupted while using the jimmy it packs one hell of a wallop.

if you suck at picking you should do what i did and get some superbumpkeys, they bump the pins up so you can move the cylinder, they dont damage the lock and they work like 85% to 90% of the time.

i have a real easyer way of picking them (just over pick with a fair bit a tension then let the tension of very slowly untill u hear about 2-5 clicks then leave the tension at that point then put your pick back in, *normaly one pin comes all the way out* find that pin and push it in untill u can turn the lock, Hay presto your in

What are high security pins?

High Security pins are what is illistrated. You have the springs up top, the security pins, and then the regular pins that you push up on (pusher pin). Rather than the pin being straight (like a cheap master lock) these are considered security pins because they are suppose to be more difficult to pick.

Raking is a great method for opening locks... but I sometimes like to practice my picking the lock pin by pin... because it helps to keep my edge! Great video!

This technique will only work if the cuts on the spool or mushroom pins are shallow,In most cases,you need to release pressure while simultaneously

pushing on the on the securty pin(s).

PS:I have never had any luck with reverse picking
