One other thing that's worth trying, is to put the Voice of Velvet in the offhand weapon slot and equip Vigilance (having chosen the "flexible and nimble" and "sharp as sharp can be" options for forging) as the main-hand weapon. I had to put a few more attribute points into strength but it resulted in an increase of main hand damage, and my crits jumped up about 50 damage points. I think it's a slightly slower weapon though, but with a few Momentum Runes I think it's a good choice of weapon.

There are just 2 things I would change on your character. Cap of the nimble (or Quicksilver) > Helm of Honnleath. Also, if you have the Golems of Amgarrak DLC and can finish it on Nightmare difficulty, then the High Regard of House Dace > Spellward. Otherwise it's a great setup.

question, how do you get that helmet in awakening. I got it in orgins, but when i start playing awakening i always get that stupid gray warden helmet, and the helmet is compleatly gone from my inventrory :(

omg i just realised why my dmg is farked. I have all the same stats except "Tainted blood" bugged out on me, it wasnt working, and now for some reason i don't even have the skills there anymore. WTF

Such a huge bug, coz i squeezed out even more cunning by replacing Helm of Honnleath with Cap o' Nimble (+6 cun), Spellward with Illumination (+3 all stats) and Corin's prop with Ring of subtlety (+3 dex, +3 cun)

But even so my actual dmg stat is 60+ as opposed to 90+

IMO, DAO:A is pretty imbalanced for every class. You get such good talents and skills (like accuracy for an archer and the health bonus skill for example) that the entire game seems trivial. That's just my two cents. I think my archer had like 250-300 damage per shot and I was trying to use him as a tank lol.

You rule ! Just one advice! create bombs and throw them before the enemy get close to u! Learn the effects for example wolfs get pwned by electric damage , spiders from fire etc... I dont say that your character will get better (cuz he is perfect) just to add some pleasure in killing darkspwn

How did you keep Honnleath? When I uploaded my character, it didn't come with me. I just ended up using some other helm thing that had good stats.

In the end I managed to get my character to backstab 500s lol... took down the High dragon near the end of the game in less than 30 seconds on Nightmare...

Explain your willpower in your chest? please. I just got awakening so perhaps willpower is all thats useful for a rogue to rune with? Also, got any crash problems with Awakening? Mine crashes A LOT, uninstalled it and started over with a rogue on DAO and use patch 1.2 and it doesnt crash at all.

Help needed from everyone, since patch 1.03 crashes your game how do I prevent this? I know Awakening automatically installs it..

@Direksone i put willpower runes on my chest for stamina. base WIL is not enough to maintain some sustainables in long battles. shadow form drains your stamina real fast.

@kutsuu03 ah makes sense, i guess ill have to start playing awakening soon, i just go emo cause i know it'll crash often.. im boosting my 3rd rogue (first 2 were on the xbox, switched to PC) through the game, getting some valuable items etc and then off to awakenings. i hope the new patch comes soon that fixes the crashes..

how about for a cunning rogue: 1) Cap of the Nimble instead of Helm of Honnleath and 2) Blackblade Boots instead of Wolf Treads and here we are with a total of 58% spell resistance counting The Spellward Amulet, without any bigger sacrifices made =) There might be a good option to change Felon's Coat for Vest of the Nimble for better cunning but it might be good to keep Felon's anyway for a better overall protection. awesome build overall. might respec deft hands for the last in bard line :P

@realKingJay because Song of Courage is important. SoC is also CUN based. you get uber bonuses from it. attack rate, criticals, damage penetration, etc. it also benfits your party.

On a side note kutsuu, I noticed you picked up Evasion. While this may sound good, the animation for the dodge is WAYYYY too long, and it's better to rely on stuns and a good tank for damage reduction.

In short: Evasion sucks, put points into archery for lulz, or lockpicking, or w/e.

I dunno really. When I imported my Origins character to Awakening, the Stone Prisoner DLC items were there.

Shadow is more or a defensive specialization. Shadow Form reduces aggro, Shadow Striking increases backstab damage in while in Shadow Form, Decoy is used to escape enemies who are mobbing you, Pandaemonium is an AoE to distract/confuse enemies around you.

Duelist is more of an offensive specialization.

Its from the Stone Prisoner DLC. Wolf Treads boots is from a quest under the Vigil's Keep/Deep Roads.
