What an incredible performance! There is some amazing music coming out of Mali, Senegal and Guinea these days and people like Rokia are driving it. I would so like to see this sort of music become the world-wide influence that American rock has been. I love that she uses the ngoni accompaniment so much in her shows. It is a lovely instrument, thousands of years old and it should keep its place for thousands more.
