Well done! I'd go see it in the theaters, if it was made, that is.

Nitpicks - Olmy and the Frant stop Vasquez as she gets off one of the trains during the Russian invasion - (though this is a lot more exciting!) I want to see Axis City!!!

The third place entry was animated. It was the most true to the novel.

However, I would personally prefer live actors for the humans/homorphs and cgi for the frants, neomorphs, talsit, etc.

The Jarts were never seen in Eon. They were always a distant enemy as far as the protagonists were concerned. When they were revealed in the sequel story "Eternity", it is clear that they do not resemble the creature in this video.

I am certain the creature shown here is a Frant and its companion is Ser Olmy.

Yep, although in the original scene in the book, Patricia isn't scared of the Frant, and there is no Russian soldier aiming the gun at her. Extra bit of dramatic tension for cinematic effect, I suppose.

Look up "hallucigenia" on Google image search, Greg Bear based Jarts on this fossil, or rather the early (wrong) upside-down interpretation when it was thought to have walked on it's spines.

Awesome CG trailer for the book. Graphically its superb but scene selection was sort of limited. I'm not judging though, just envious wishing to see an Eon movie that will never be.
