  • I had a 15 year old Amish girl take these videos. She had never used a camera before. This is a 60' silo. We filled it in one day, had about 25 men working. Here we are just topping it off. That blower really made the 730 pop, especially with the straight stack.

  • Thanks for posting, I got an IH chopper just about like that and a "Badger" brand that has does not have a blower but an elivator taking it away, must have been for a pit silo? Great vid!

  • I hope this silo wasn't a 20 x 80 or this could take some time

  • 730 is a great working tractor. I think JD under rated them though. Any of them you see that are stock don't smoke hardly any when under a hard load. I would have some injection pump work done to have the fuel turned up on that bad boy.

  • Awesomeness.

  • this is how we did it into the late 60's with a Farmall Regular and Papec ensilage cutter/blower. And we used a pitchfork to load/unload the bundles

  • I love the sound of those two cylinders lugging down...they never quit though...always hard workers

  • Well done, thanks for Video

  • That is so neat seeing an antique ensilage cutter in operation!
