This is where the movie gets untenable. No Marine Recon platoon member would A) miss that ribbon with 5 stars on a blue field, B) EVER give a ration of shit to one who wore it, and C) any Major who made it his sworn mission in life to run a Medal of Honor holder out of the Corps would quickly find themselves in another line of work.
