i know that, im a big 80s fan too. I miss the 80s and some of there songs have sorta a late 80s feel to them. I do like alot of 90s britpop as well like supergrass, suede, oasis etc.
oh I see lol actually the New Radicals were influenced by different artists from the 80s so that explains why you like this album. in my opinion, this was the BEST rock album of the late 90s.
Transition at (1:55) AMAZING!!!! Synth bending pitches and dreamy chords crashing together - perfect segue into the main song from the fairly stream-of-consciousness intro. Masterpiece!!
music is my drug of choice. i have TONS of cds. and this is the 1 album i would take on a deserted island. if you have not heard this album i suggest you listen to it at 4:20. it will soothe all your senses. this album could quite possibly achieve world peace. i even got my brother "country bumpkin" to love it.

I absolutely agree! This is actually my favorite song right now. Everything about this overwhelming song completely screams beauty and it has all the elements that make it in my favorite songs. I also find it amazing that it actually sounds like Gregg Alexander is crying while screaming at the end. I don't know if he's acting or not, but it's convincing and very moving.
