I just got a janty ego, with the 650mah pass thru battery and a 900mah battery, came with a drip tip too, very nice device, makes for a excellent vape, got some new boge cartos from vaporkings and there pretty sweet too. Put down the cigs, and happy vaping everyone!

What a RIP-OFF USA websites are.These guys are laughing all they way to the bank.The mark-ups are incredible.Not double,oh no,we're talking 4-8 times or more.I use to sell DOD8-1 starter kits 3 or 4 years ago when they first came out.Charged 30-35$ per kit.(2 batts,usb,wall charger,pack of carts)but i was so swamped i stoped doing it.Some sites now get 40$ for a DOD8-1 but are still ripping ya'al' off,example: the ego-c 70-80$ email me wtf@LMAO.yup

The ego is great. Its like getting that first hit from a freshly charged 510 every time and the battery lasts me all day long. The standard 510 batteries always started to lose their great production after the first 3 hits for me. The outer cover is great for dripping directly on the wick since if you flood it you dont get juice on your hand. With the cover off I notice it does pull more but doesnt necessarily make it better. The tight pull makes it feel more like a real drag with thicker vapor

its very hard to recommend e-liquids as everybody has very different tastes........but i can tell you that i have vapid the Dekang e-liquids and found them to be a very nice vape ;)

I am new to e cigs. but can these take any type cartridge or does it have to be this brand . also what do you do with the juice it says to drip it but i'm not totally certain what to do with it, and the people i bought it from and very limited knowledge of the product
you will need to use "510 carts" as this model uses a 510 atomiser
with regards to dripping, you can either drip a few drops on to the top of your dry cart or drip 3 or 4 drops directly onto the atomiser.........then repeat when you start noticing the flavour / vapour start to fade

Good video. I got my EGO to-day. I know it is early days, but this is one of the BEST e cigs i have ever tried. It is also very well made very "macho" looking as well. I bought the stainless steel version. Okay it may not like a real cigarette, but it sure "smokes" (vapes) like one. I love it already I have wasted a lot of money buying inferior models that are on the internet. Most of the batteries died within a week or so, or the atomisers burnt out. I hope this one lasts a lot longer.
what do you think about the 'vapestick' through their advertising I found out about all of these e-cigs.. Is the vapestick good or is it merely the marketing campaign that means it is becoming the most well known?

atomisers can last anywhere between 4 - 8 weeks.........sometimes more, sometimes less.
and i personally find each cartridge is roughly the equivalent of about 4 cigarettes. buy e-liquid and refill the carts yourself as it is miles more cost effective :)

I got my ego xl, and I am loving it... It's got a 900 mah battery and it lasts me about 24 hours (including 8 hrs of sleep) For example if i start using one battery at 4:00 in the afternoon, I wont need the next battery until about 4:00 pm the next day. I smoked a pack and a half of regular cigs a day and started vaping on the 17th of july. I treat the e-cig the same way as you do(like a regular cig). And it still has the 2 hour on the dot charge... pretty amazing device!

they are a safe alternative to smoking. there is no burning, no tobacco, no cancer triggering chemicals, no smell etc etc.
an e-cig is made up of a battery, atomiser and a cartridge filled with e-liquid.
the "smoke" is actually a harmless vapour. when you drag, the battery heats up the atomiser. vapour is then produced when a special PG based liquid (known as e-liquid - also contains nicotine and flavouring) gets vaporised when it comes in contact with the atomiser.
@igetcha69 My addiction specialist doctor just gave me Nicorette yesterday after I told him the amount I've been smoking, and the fact that I've really been trying to quit. So if I use something like this? You think I can stop smoking easily? They contain nicotine, so I mean, it's not as bad and still gets me my fix.

Is the Janty Ego different than the Joye 510 Ego? I've been using the regular 510 for a long time and it's been reliable, but I heard the Ego battery makes a big difference. Actually, it's the other way around. The Tornado is an unbranded eGo. Mik at Janty designed the eGo months ago. You can find his prototype video on YouTube. Janty sells the eGo unbranded so that other suppliers can sell them under whatever name they like. (ie the Janty Stick is also sold by Joye as the Joye Stick) The biggest difference I see is you can get the Tornado in a choice of colors. But functionality is the same.
I wish you had spent more time with the cone off vs. on thing and how it affects the vape. I see all sorts of posts attributing almost magical differences.
i did actually spend quite a lot of time comparing the difference between having the cone on and off. but like i said in the video, i could not tell any difference in performance personally.
yeah it was a bit of an error on my part. janty 1st talked about doing a review around 6 weeks before the ego / tornado was on sale. the idea was to review it before it was available to the public so i happily said yes as i thought it would be a bit of an exclusive. but i didnt hear back from them so assumed they had changed their mind. 5 weeks later TW asked if i would review their version so i said yes.........then both got delivered on the same day! lol

I've noticed that the cone actually protects the atty when I have dropped the device. It also seems to prevent leakage of the juice if I drip too much liquid into the atty. It's cosmetic and functional as well in my opinion. Great review!!

I got my ego xl, and I am loving it... It's got a 900 mah battery and it lasts me about 24 hours (including 8 hrs of sleep) For example if i start using one battery at 4:00 in the afternoon, I wont need the next battery until about 4:00 pm the next day. I smoked a pack and a half of regular cigs a day and started vaping on the 17th of july. I treat the e-cig the same way as you do(like a regular cig). And it still has the 2 hour on the dot charge... pretty amazing device!

You have the best e-cig reviews on the net by far. I ordered the janty ego XL yesterday and i'm thinking the battery will last all day since it's like 300 more mah i think... What is your personal favorite e-cig? it would be really nice to have a video about your favorite one's.

I just picked me up one of these bad boys from Pure Smoker for 49.99... a screamin deal if I do say so myself.. all they have is red though. Awesome review! Looking forward to getting it in the mail. How long did it take you to be able to make vape rings like that? holy cow!

hi ;) I've got my ego kit yesterday, first of all i was very impressed.. vapour was pretty cool! but latter.. i drip two or three drips on the atty before smoking.. so first few vapor is ok.. i get few nice hits, but then vaping sucks.. there are not pretty much of vapour.. maybe i do something wrong..? Is there any tips or tricks to make e cig vape better?

Just wanted to say a big thanks! This video sold me on buying an eGo since after some research over reviews like yours and on ECF lead me to the conclusion that its the best one available here in the Philippines as of now.
I'm on my second month now and it still lives up to all my expectations!

hi mate,
they are a safe alternative to smoking. there is no burning, no tobacco, no cancer triggering chemicals, no smell etc etc.
an e-cig is made up of a battery, atomiser and a cartridge filled with e-liquid.
the "smoke" is actually a harmless vapour. when you drag, the battery heats up the atomiser. vapour is then produced when a special PG based liquid (known as e-liquid - also contains nicotine and flavouring) gets vaporised when it comes in contact with the atomiser.

@igetcha69 My addiction specialist doctor just gave me Nicorette yesterday after I told him the amount I've been smoking, and the fact that I've really been trying to quit. So if I use something like this? You think I can stop smoking easily? They contain nicotine, so I mean, it's not as bad and still gets me my fix.

since i started reviewing e-cigs around 18 months ago, ive received thousands of emails from heavy smokers who have successfully (and easily!) quit tobacco by switching to e-cigs. technically you are swapping one addiction for another as they still contain nicotine..........but at least its far, far healthier than a real cigarette!

Is the Janty Ego different than the Joye 510 Ego? I've been using the regular 510 for a long time and it's been reliable, but I heard the Ego battery makes a big difference. Can I just get the Ego batteries and use my regular 510 atty? Sorry, I'm having a hard time finding info on this. Thanks. Great review, as always.

i just take nice long controlled drags............the longer you inhale, the more vapour you get.

Actually, it's the other way around. The Tornado is an unbranded eGo. Mik at Janty designed the eGo months ago. You can find his prototype video on YouTube. Janty sells the eGo unbranded so that other suppliers can sell them under whatever name they like. (ie the Janty Stick is also sold by Joye as the Joye Stick) The biggest difference I see is you can get the Tornado in a choice of colors. But functionality is the same.

yeah they are both exactly the same, but the TW version also comes with an adapter so you can charge it via a regular 510 wall charger.

i did actually spend quite a lot of time comparing the difference between having the cone on and off. but like i said in the video, i could not tell any difference in performance personally.

yeah it was a bit of an error on my part. janty 1st talked about doing a review around 6 weeks before the ego / tornado was on sale. the idea was to review it before it was available to the public so i happily said yes as i thought it would be a bit of an exclusive. but i didnt hear back from them so assumed they had changed their mind. 5 weeks later TW asked if i would review their version so i said yes.........then both got delivered on the same day! lol

I've noticed that the cone actually protects the atty when I have dropped the device. It also seems to prevent leakage of the juice if I drip too much liquid into the atty. It's cosmetic and functional as well in my opinion. Great review!!
