The technology required for a lot of this stuff already exists. However, most of it isn't efficient enough to be used on the battlefield. Power, weight, ease of use, etc, need to be worked out.
The British Military is also much to small to really have an effect; a single US Carrier Division is considered the equivalent in size to the entire British armed forces. The British are good soldiers and competitive as far as technology and military hardware goes but they are too small and not specialized enough to be the best. For now the US occupies that spot but everything is subject to change. China is an upcoming country that may come to dominate even the US.
The British Military is very good, especially for its size but the US Military is mush better for a number of reasons. The US has the finest Air, Ground and Sea forces in the world and it has the ability to coordinate these elements in a way as to supplement and maximize the affect of the other branches of the military. The reason the US has lost more soldiers is because the US is deployed throughout Iraq while the British are not in any true hotspots an in much smaller numbers.
The UK aren't hated by every other fucking country either. All America learns about is their own country, and think they are above the world. Have fun in your own fat filled country, because everyone else decides to just "wipe the fat fucks out".

The technology required for a lot of this stuff already exists. However, most of it isn't efficient enough to be used on the battlefield. Power, weight, ease of use, etc, need to be worked out.

The British Military is also much to small to really have an effect; a single US Carrier Division is considered the equivalent in size to the entire British armed forces. The British are good soldiers and competitive as far as technology and military hardware goes but they are too small and not specialized enough to be the best. For now the US occupies that spot but everything is subject to change. China is an upcoming country that may come to dominate even the US.

The British Military is very good, especially for its size but the US Military is mush better for a number of reasons. The US has the finest Air, Ground and Sea forces in the world and it has the ability to coordinate these elements in a way as to supplement and maximize the affect of the other branches of the military. The reason the US has lost more soldiers is because the US is deployed throughout Iraq while the British are not in any true hotspots an in much smaller numbers.

The UK system is good, but it has its flaw. Recently it was on the news how a young lady died due to lack of medical using the UK's health system due to the Long waiting list to get an operation. I think, as humans who define our own destiny and path in life should also be responsible for our own health. You will find barbarian, womanizing and unrealistic people in the Arab/Asian countries. The problem with FCS is that in real war, the Network always goes down and the robots don't work when the sandstorm comes in off the desert. This is why the U.S., British, Australian, Canadian, and New Zealand (ANZAC) armies, as well as the Israeli armies have the ace in the hole when high technology fails: the noncommissioned officer. Anyhoo, don't put too much stock in FCS and other high tech Wunderwaffe In war, it's still the small unit leader and his squad that wins the engagement. Period.
