Does anyone know exactly why Graham and Sammartino hate Backlund so much?

Graham when he wrestled in the AWA during the early '70s...I wasn't much of a wrestling fan until he showed up, and I daresay there were many, many other converts during that time. People who wouldn't admit to even watching Gagne's All-Star Wrestling program became rabid fans of SBG...and then he left for New York.

SBG and Bruno Sammartino say they were an eyelash away from changing the finish of their 2/18/78 Phila Spectrum cage match (on YT by the way) so Bruno regained the belt. we can only imagine how different things would have been

I can't stand Billy Graham sometimes, he complains about everybody these days, it's never just one person, every interview its more heat on another......but he still is the man

Billy Graham is the man! I'd be pissed too if I lost a title to someone in a match and they nade the title seem like it'd be 2nd rate.
