  • Lol. Its one of the 3 pigs from shrek

  • I've been using this pedal for months now for country, blues, rock, and hard rock and I'm very happy with it! I always combine OD and DIST for lead sounds, the trick is not to max out iether the OD or distortion when you combine them. the programability is awesome too

  • Can this pedal be used for Thrash & Death metal? I use '87 Kramer with Seymour Duncan SH8 in Bridge.

    Thanx!

  • @Dushmank The Nova Drive is very versatile, it should satisfy very demanding needs..

  • In other words what is the amp used in the video?

  • Hello, does anyone know what the amp settings are in this video: is it set on the clean channel? or is the amp set on a little drive?

  • The Nova Drive seems to sounds great, i will try one.

Especially the routing options are interesting!

  • Great pedal and beautiful guitar!

  • Hey does anyone know what amp he's running through? This sound is amazing!

  • Finally I have my Nova Drive.. Awesome pedal, it sounds amazing with my stratocaster into a JC120 and a Fender Pro Junior.

  • This thing sounds fucking good. Or maybe this guy is just an expert.

  • can this thing do heavy rock and metal??? on a clean setting

  • @LesPaul209 Hiya, Yes, but it depends on the pickups you’re using and the type of metal you’re playing. If you’re looking for 70’s and 80’s metal sounds then Nova Drive is the perfect pedal. With active pickups such as EMGs or Blackouts, Nova Drive can do modern metal as well (especially if you combine the two drives). If you need black-metal style gain and use fairly low-output pick-ups then I’d recommend other pedals.

    Best wishes,

    Joey @ TC

  • @tcelectronic

Last week i bought the Nova Drive/Distortion it's awesom for playing music like RATT and all those 80's type of style

  • @LesPaul209 this thing is awesome if you put it in front of a metal amp and boost your signal with it! get a mesa boogie or a 5150 and you have a nice tight metal tone : )

  • can this thing do heavy rock and metal??? on a clean setting

  • thats a very cool feature as well.

thats a very cool feature as well.

thats a very cool feature as well.

    Its just an awesome pedal!

  • i like when this guy does the "A-OK" hand gesture :)

  • Maaan I want this pedal!

  • i think ONLY this guy should officially demonstrate the tc electronic products !

  • anyone know what scale the end is

  • @sushruthz thats pentatonic...

  • Im digging that guitar, it looks like it has a baseball bat size neck tho yikes !

  • I love the Mesa Lonestar but I would love to have this setup and have it running thru a Mesa markV. The Amp Gizmo allows you to hook up via midi and freely switch between your presets of the 3 channels on the MarkV Boogie, awesome setup.

  • Did they go back to calling it a SG after Gibson got their panties all twisted in the 70's and caused a name change or is it still a SBG? by the way, does anyone know what the nut width on these is? and are they still using dimarzio pups?

  • I just read they are using Proprietary Yamaha Alnico V Covered Humbuckers

  • You cant shred on this pedal?? :P

    It sounds too bluesy

  • what pickup is he using? nice neck pickup sound. well bridge as well

  • Hiya,

It's the standard pickup that comes with the Yamaha SG.

    Best wishes,

    Joey @ TC

  • hey tc electronic, what is the scale that andersen is playing at the end? thanks

  • @sushruthz it sounded like a dorian mode.

  • that guitar sounds awesome, great pedal and player, ... strange accent

  • not everybody is american fool

  • @spudgun05 most people are not americans. Most people are normal.

  • @9876852

The name "Søren" should clue you in there..

  • Great guitar. What guitar is it?

  • yamaha sg 3000

  • tc electronic roxxx!!

    g-system is amazing!!

  • on 00:05 I see the Voodoo is labeled with TAP....does that mean you can control the delay tempo from the Voodoo?

  • Søren is using a Midi controller to control a TC Electronic GMajor/2 effect unit - which of course have delay effects and tap tempo.

In this video, Søren is using the NovaDrive stand-alone, but it is actually possible to change NovaDrive preset and control its pots using a MIDI controller - cool and very useful feature :-)

  • Yes, You can assign any MIDI CC to control the tap tempo from a MIDI board.

  • lol this is pretty cool

  • Thank you tcelectronic for the reply. Is there any way you guys can tell us exactly what Soren uses in this video? Is this rig through an amplifier or... all rackmount running through power amps and speaker cabinets?

  • i think the delay is from the g major with a gcx ground control to control it, and i think as amps he uses two mesa boogie ether 5:25 or 5:50's in stereo but thats only from looking at the thing

  • Sure thing: Soren is using a Yamaha guitar into a Mesa Lone Star 1x12 combo set on the clean channel. The overdrive and distortion tones you hear is all Nova Drive and the other effects come from G-Major 2. He's using a Ground Control Pro to control both the G-Major 2 and Nova Drive.

  • Wow, what a great player Søren Andersen is.

    Awesome drive pedal.

  • At 1:40 he mentions delay...he has a controller on the floor, but wonder what his delay source is?...I assume a tc product...maybe a g system perhaps?? What would u guys guess?? Thanks.

  • Hey Tore from TC Electronic here. The delay he's using is from G-Major 2 - our new 19" rack processor for guitar.

  • We need MORE demoes of this :(

  • This pedal is analog but digital control??

    Am i right??

    I'm not good at English

    So, is it analog

    (little bit confuse)

  • yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!

  • at Thomann in Germany: € 249,--

  • How much??? $

  • great idea! controling via midi overdrives and distorsions with my AxeFx for effects at a since stomp with a midi foot controller is the holy grail in live situations....I am using a vox ac30tb so I wonder how this pedal sounds comparing to a fulltone fulldrive 2 for example...any idea? pleassse!!!

  • is this from the nova system both drive & distortion?

  • that generally sounds like the drive from the nova system

  • 5 STARS!!!

Is there any stereo effect on his outro solo??? I can hear the signal waving from left to right!

Great lead tone with the delay:-)

I would love to know how it sounds with heavy riffing:-) More palm mute n pitch harmonic- stuff.

Great guitar player and video/audio quality though :-)

    THX from GER

  • I need this pedal!!

  • Yeah, iI must buy this one for my g-system

  • Wow, this pedal is rocking!
