@112Bmth using Pod Farm, the setup is a noise gate set at about a 1/3, into a tube screamer with all set at 50% then into a Marshall JCM800 with all knobs at half way except the drive which was slightly higher!
Can use the Line 6 GX pod with guitar rig 4 and amplitube, etc? Or do i have to use the software it brings? Oh and how is the latency even at high setttings.
You dont need to use the software that comes with it (though Pod Farm is great), i have used it with guitar rig and it works fine with that, so id say it'll work fine with similar programs. The latency is only noticeable when at high performance settings ( im using a C2D E4500 with 2GB ram.)
@thestig5000 Oh ok sounds good then. I have asio4all and it reduced the latency very well, but i had to reinstall windows 7 again and this time for some reason I don't get output sound with asio4all. I have 4gb if ram on a sony vaio fw so i was actually playing at high settings until this happened.
Thanks, I used audacity to record the guitar from the GX. Then mixed it with the original song in a program called Goldwave( have a google). Then i added the video on top using windows movie maker ( not recommended as it is hard to match the sound back up with the video.)
I masterbated brutaley over this omg
