See the New Testament verses in 1 Thess 4:15-17, “...For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

That first scripture you quoted has nothing to do with what you are talking about you are iterpreting what you want to see you are making things up. Do you think Lot was raptured from Sodom? There are many parallels like this in the scriptures that confirm a rapture.

I was baptized at 12 years old (1972) dedicating my life to following Jesus. The Spirit was with me when shortly after this, our church teachers brought in for the youth group, a "new' teaching video titled,"A thief in the night" it was about the false pre-rapture doctrine.
The Spirit instilled in me the TRUTH, that this was a lie, those "left behind" were still in the field doing Father's will. Those taken and forcing their beliefs on others were doing so on behalf of the beast, anti-christ.
I am the only person that I know of that has had a dream very clearly dipicting the rapture as something false and misleading. Dreams are best kept between the dreamer, the Lord and scripture in my humble opinion, that way you can't mislead anybody else.
@RememberPaulRevere dreams are interpreted by our logical minds and hearts which can be deceived and deceiving including intuition hence the need for scripture to be the final authority. Dreams and intuition will sway your belief on a matter that's why I think people should keep their dreams etc to themselves. If they can back them up with scripture then are they not just verifiying scripture in the first place?

Actually, I'm 31, currently, but when I was saved at about the age of six, I had several visions-in the moments, maybe few minutes after I heard and believed the gospel. In one of the visions I progressed to an advanced age, older than I am now, many years older than I am now. It is hard for me to fix an age, but I think I was over 60. In the vision-as an old man I began to wobble and than wobble more severely, and then I fell down. I think that I saw that I would die before Jesus returned.

This makes no sense for the simple fact that, by believing in post trib, you are saying, whoever, is lost, is lost forever. There needs to be a time when the christians are removed and satans blinders are then taken off of the evil doers, so they can truly see what it is they involved themselves in and then have a chance to repent.

The vast majority of these rapture dreams are often faked or not from God but are from the demonic meant to deceive. The rest are attention seekers. The very few remaining from out of the pile are not the rapture at all but the first resurrection. The ones that I find disturbing are the ones that say they have seen the Lord yet post images/icons that are of ascended masters and not Christ.

I am the only person that I know of that has had a dream very clearly dipicting the rapture as something false and misleading. Dreams are best kept between the dreamer, the Lord and scripture in my humble opinion, that way you can't mislead anybody else.

@MsCread I've not had any "dreams", but was Blessed and "warned" via intuition, spiritual discernment, about the false doctrine at age 12.

@RememberPaulRevere dreams are interpreted by our logical minds and hearts which can be deceived and deceiving including intuition hence the need for scripture to be the final authority. Dreams and intuition will sway your belief on a matter that's why I think people should keep their dreams etc to themselves. If they can back them up with scripture then are they not just verifiying scripture in the first place?

whatever people do and do not dream, it is somehow disturbing that they feel they need to share them constantly and attempt to present them as anything other than dreams.

Susan, my beloved sister, I must confess to you that since I was 11 years old as a little boy, that I too have dreamt of the rapture. Does this justify scripture contextually? One thing I can Guarantee. NOBODY on earth has ALL the correct answers. God knew there would be disagreements on pre vs post. He also said one of the most important commandment was love your brother. As long as your not denying Jesus is son of God. We will have differences of opinion. I, for one am not going to stand in front of God and have him ask me why I spent so much time criticizing, degrading and belittling other Christians for there interpretation of the bible. You spend too much energy on being angry with rapture believers. Do you think that God wants Christians divided like this? Christians should not behave towards each other this way. Satan is absolutely loving this. You need to concentrate on winning souls and leave people to their own opinions. What if the rapture is correct? Will you be ready? The only thing that comes out of this is embarrassment for the ones you slander and embarrassment for yourself.

Actually, I'm 31, currently, but when I was saved at about the age of six, I had several visions-in the moments, maybe few minutes after I heard and believed the gospel. In one of the visions I progressed to an advanced age, older than I am now, many years older than I am now. It is hard for me to fix an age, but I think I was over 60. In the vision-as an old man I began to wobble and than wobble more severely, and then I fell down. I think that I saw that I would die before Jesus returned.

It all depends on your interpretation of the rapture..Some will be left behind as others move up..They will not even notice they will just not be a part of any one moving up..Those that move up or stay behind may miss the other person or persons, but they may not even see it as a rapture..just life and life has a funny way of making to once together paths to separate from each other, God bless

This makes no sense for the simple fact that, by believing in post trib, you are saying, whoever, is lost, is lost forever. There needs to be a time when the christians are removed and satans blinders are then taken off of the evil doers, so they can truly see what it is they involved themselves in and then have a chance to repent.

If you never had a real vision of the rapture it's easy to discredit the belief. The Lord said something like as you believe so shall it be. meaning our faith has a lot to do with it. Maybe to some they will be raptured and to some, not. After all He is an awesome God! I suspect not all were healed...

@TruthersQuest The new covenant mediator is Christ Jesus. We can either accept this or reject his words and instructions. The New Covenant is simple. God wants us to have a relationship with Him through his Son.

The vast majority of these rapture dreams are often faked or not from God but are from the demonic meant to deceive. The rest are attention seekers. The very few remaining from out of the pile are not the rapture at all but the first resurrection. The ones that I find disturbing are the ones that say they have seen the Lord yet post images/icons that are of ascended masters and not Christ.
