Loan officers pretending to be financial advisers sold 10's of 1000's of inexperienced first time home buyers loans they could not afford. Enron and the housing crash are perfect example of what happens when greed takes over a free trade market that lacks sufficient government regulation or oversight.

The market is in a slump because free trade can not work without regulations that enforces a minimum level of honor and integrity. Excessive Greed took over the loan industry. Loan officers pretending to be financial advisers sold 10's of 1000's of inexperienced first time home buyers loans they could not afford. Enron and the housing crash are perfect example of what happens when greed takes over a free trade market that lacks sufficient government regulation or oversight.

Supporting political goals is not the same as supporting individual people. Clarence Thomas was appointed to the supreme court to replace Thurgood Marshall - both were Black. Thomas was not supported by NAACP, NOW and other liberal groups because of his conservative views. Marshall was a liberal and long term supporter of civil rights.

She's MORE qualified than Hillary Clinton because she accomplished everything ON HER OWN not just by virtue of being married to the guy who was actually elected or 3 decades. Also she was a GOVERNOR not just a Senator or congresswoman..(Gerry Ferraro was a Congresswoman for 5 years and that was all) and she didn't have to move to another state (such as NY) to pick her own Senate seat. Hillary will NEVER be President, thank God.

I have to say that John McCain's choice of Sarah Palin is absolutely brilliant. She really is the type of person one would like to have a drink with at a bar, which is the major criterion that some Americans also use to elect a president. It will not matter to many voters that she has no experience and is a heart beat (rather slow I may say in this case), away from deciding on what to do with Iran.

She represents our need for more energy, our traditional family values, our disgust with high taxes and gas prices. She's our voice and she brings a nice balance to McCain's centered moderate Republican tendencies. Is she the answer Clinton supporters were looking for? NO, if it even needs to be said. Yet when Hillary earns 18,000,000 votes in the primary, what does she get? The privilege of calling her children home at the convention to support Obama. McCain drafts a woman for his VP and the Dems can't wait to trash her. And none more savagely than the women in the party. It's kind of like fifth grade all over again.

If you know the issues, then you would realize that Thursday night, Obama again failed to explain how he is going to cut taxes. What he gave us was a recipe for socialism. Palin has more experience than a community organizer who had his career into the Senate (which has been a little over a hundred days) from a radical leftist William Ayers who said on 9/11 we didn't do enough.

The thing is that McCain is 72 (the same age as the average age of death for males in the USA), and presidency adds stress. So you could argue that she is running to be President. Saying this, I would much rather have someone with some experience (Obama/Barr/etc) then someone with no experience in foreign policy. So you saying this is saying that you want a candidate with no experience outside of Alaska to be the leader of the free world.
