Not many people know this, but the coach of Sparty in this game (In his first year replacing the immortal Duffy Daugherty) was Denny Stolz, who would go on to coach Prolific Passing teams at both Bowling Green and San Diego State.

A lot of people do not realize that the holder for MSU would later become the head coach for Notre Dame. His name is Tyrone Willingham.

Sunday morning before church. We also got a half an hour of old Packer highlights from the '30's and 40's. There also was the College Highlight show on ABC on Sunday morning- I can't find hardly a reference of that gem anywhere.

Its a spartan head logo that was drawn by an MSU player end Mike Hurd. To me, it looks like a cauliflower.
