  • 1 last thing as I sit here with a beer feeling pleased about the repair , because I didnt check the throttle clamp position it was holding the buuterfly closed (didnt notice) and went on to check the flywheel sheer pin , obviously that was ok but maybe a vid on that to as it wasnt such a hard check, anyway good job cheers again

  • oh and I failed to mark the throttle clamp position and that delayed the fix but once again thanks

  • Thanks so much this procedure fixed my mower , the reair shop wanted $160 just to look at the mower so verry happy

  • No, it was not a highliter. It is a paint pen. You can get them at most hardware stores. It writes on just about anything. Junk yards use them a lot to mark used parts. They cost about $3 bucks.

  • what was that a highliter?

  • i like the dot idea many times you take things aprt and not sure which way they go back. thanks for the vid

  • Thanks, I replaced my diaphragm today using your vidio. It started on the first pull. Thanks, Jay

  • Glad that I could help. If you want to repay me, just do something nice for someone who needs help. Makes the world just a little nicer.

  • Fantastic, watched this, ordered the gaskets off ebay (£2.40), fitted them while talking on the phone to my Dad, then fired it up....never loved the sound of my little lawnmower so much! Thanks for bothering to put this up..my 20year old mower lives on (in a wet and soggy Leyland -Northern England)...!

  • Thank you for all the kind words. Glad I could share my knowledge and save people some money. These are well build mowers that shouldn't suffer an early death because of a $5 dollar part.

  • Love the way you explained everything.. I can't wait to show off :) you should do changing oil, filters too. For others that don't know anything about this kind of stuff. Like me.

  • Fail for not starting it.

  • @cameramonkey2 *Quantums

  • Thank you sir!!! You just fixed my mower, and possibly another that has been out of commission for 2 years, which seems to have the same problem. And I can tell my man I did it myself lol. Thanks again for your expertise! You rock :D

  • i only charge 40$... or a tune up for 40, and an extra 5$ for a new diaphragm.. lol

  • Thanks for this video you saved me a lot of headaches and I was able to do it myself.

  • Some of these diaphragms aren't so obvious. Doesn't take much distortion to throw off the metering and make the engine run lousy.
