Just tried one out at Guitar Center about an hour ago. Very good tone with my guitar plugged in. Surprisingly not very muddy and great for AC/DC and early Scorpions (Sails of Charon was BADASS on it!) and I think i'm sold on it. It'll sound even better after a tube change, and more importantly, i've got 3 distortion pedals and an EQ pedal to shape the sound the way I want. Thanks for the advice, Schenker!
