my favorite option is to become a omnivore. it lets you have many more options later in the game and in this stage, plainly said, everything smaller than you is food. to those who don't know how to do this without starting from the creature stage it's simple: after a while of eating spend some money(points) on another mouth of the opposite diet. then make sure you eat evenly until you find a straw-like mouthed creature. i've killed it to obtain it's parts and that gave me the omnivore.sorryforlg

Im a Spore expert and i am offering help! First of all! If you are a herbavore you need spikes! But carnivores on the other hand acctualy dont need it! ( Well, not at the cell stage) Because they can bite! Its good to have some spikes on a carnivore though! But herbavores need thos so they can protecr themselfs! They cant bite so they need spikes! Hope that helpes Salamander! If you need more help just ask me!
