I had the great honour of playing this on solo oboe with the McGill Wind Symphony in 1992(3?). It is by Oskar Lindberg (Sweedish). It is a Gorgeous piece that speaks to the soul. Anyone who loves the forest and the hills will understand it.

I had the great honour of playing this on solo oboe with the McGill University Wind Symphony in 1992(3?) during a Nordic Festival. The composer is Oskar Lindberg. But the melody and harmonization are easy enough to hear and write down. This is a GORGEOUS tune that really speaks to the soul. Anyone who loves the forest and the hills will understand it.
