playing with plectrum will usually give a much cleaner sound - either u r not playing properly, or perhaps you've started learning, so give it some time ...
depends on what u want to play - if it's rhythm and you want rich sound, go for a dreadnought - not sure what u get in your area - send me a web link if u need help in selecting ...

2nd fret is easier as u r using open chords - but if u r comfortable with barre chords, then 5th fret is better as they givve you more control expecially if you want to mute the strings for a better rhythmic effect - A is played as 5-7-7-6-5-5 and D is 5-5-7-7-7-5

all my lessons are really for beginners wanting to improve their strumming - so if u know a few chords, and like to sing, hopefully u will soon master what i am trying to teach~
Not To be a Pain,, but could you do,, Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta hai from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi?? I can give you the chords but i cant work out the strumming pattern :D cheers
no pain at all - my only problem is my request list now has over 20 songs, and i only get the weekends to do maybe 2-3 - :) tell you what, check my lesson for kal ho na ho (its in 2 parts, i think the 2nd one shows the strumming) - its identical to this song ....

Since I am playing along with a recorded version, and my tuning is right, this should not be the case.
Likely reasons - your guitar is tuned higher by 2 notes, or perhaps the recorded version I have used is faulty :)
