Yea, I know the kittys can fend for themselves. I have a Yorkie/Poo/Pom and Taz (my 7 year old cat, at the time) didn't have any problems letting the pup know when he'd had enough. BUT, Taz put up with a lot before he called it quits. My big dog (Chow/Golden retriever), Buddy, was 7 when we got Taz, and he was VERY gentle with the "baby". He'd always wanted a kitten, so he didn't wanna break it! But they started playing in earnest after about 8 months. Taz got his gentleness from Buddy.

I feel the are teaching the dog that it's ok to attack the cat buy forcing the cat on the floor an the calling the dog over to bite the cat like encouraging him with praise of petting him! And repetition! Thats animal cruelty!!!

I also have a cat and a chihuahua and they play like yours every night for an hour chasing each other back and forth and usually it is the cat that initiate the play. Drives me crazy at times, but it is fun watching them enjoying each other's company.

LOL if you think that they are fighting then you must not have pets. If you watch "really watch" and the other videos of these two, you will see Buttons (the cat) leave, but then come back and lie down down near Rizzo (the dog) because he likes to play with him. Disgusting?? could not be farther form the truth.

Funny video. My cat loathes my sisters Chihuahua's. Usually he just goes outside till they're gone but occasionally he thrashes them cuz they like to take nips at his ass when he walks by. Anyways great video.

Umm no. They are quite good friends. Rizzo loves to play with buttons. Also Buttons comes over and plays with Rizzo. If he did not like it he would be hiding in the couch like my other cat does.
