I once saw a Shadow people (just 1) slam the door of my bedroom open and then dash back out. It was tall and filled up the entire 7 or 8 foot doorway. I also experienced sleep paralysis and now I know the literal meaning of "frozen with fear". This was over 10 years ago, I was a child and have sine moved houses. Any chance this thing will reappear? i have a very haunting experience with one of these shadow people when i was about 10 in the middle of the night. it was too obvious that what i saw was one of these things and it wasnt a dream. it took place in a 150 year old house i was visiting. people always say "oh i dont believe in ghosts thats bs" , i can say i mostly agree with them, just look at the crap they put on tv like "ghost hunters international" - but what i saw was the real thing
I have seen shadow people- I am almost always seeing something dark and small darting out of the corner of my eye (I mean, almost every day, multiple times a day). Whenever I turn to see what it is, it's gone, so I just assumed for a long time it was my cat or some optical illusion, but it's happened when my cat has been sitting on my lap in the middle of the day. Weird.
I think the real diffrence is that a shadow cast upon a solid surface of a person but with no person casting it versus a 3-dimensional aparition of a humanoid that appears only breifly to the human eye.

@erinsotherstuff I have seen both shadow persons and shadow people but I see shadow people all the freaking time. I have seen ghosts, too. And now, I am not schizophrenic. I don't have a video camera but you can private message me for more info. I'd want to remain anonymous in your documentary but if you want some descriptions from someone, I could tell you (I am always seeing small black darting things out of the corner of my eye).

Wow, I never realized that this was a thing. I have been seeing Shadow Person(s) since I was a little girl on a regular basis. I am 30 now. I see them outside, inside, alone or with other people. I am so use to them being there. Standing in doorways, watching me. I am not really "afraid" of them, because I am so use to them. But after I see them my heart always starts beating really fast. I see them all the time. I use to think it was the house I live in but I moved and they are here as well. its like they follow me. they don't bother me but they can freak me out if I'm not expecting them. I catch them out the corner of my eyes. i pay no attention to them any way I act like I don't see them. I know they are real cause they do freak my dogs out at times. I have 3 and they all freak out at the same time. I wish I knew what they are.

Ive had this happen to me quite a few times over the years but never seen "shadow people" just couldnt wake up but can see and hear everything.I remember watching some show years ago where they recreated a sleep paralysis in a clinical setting by electric stimuli and the people would swear they seen shadow people or felt a presence in the room but it was from the electric stimuli connected to their heads.They filmed it and all the people would have similar experiences.
@TheRalphus666 Yeah I had sleep paralysis before and it was terrible. I thought I felt something depress the bed by sitting on it then getting back up. After the experience was over I didn't consider it to be paranormal but I still remember it.

Shadow People are not 3-4 feet tall. They are 7-8 feet tall and the smaller ones that accompany the bigger ones are about 5-6 feet tall. Believe me I have had many encounters with them. This dude is a douche who made the video. They let any moron make videos. At least know what you're talking about if you are making a education type video. Word!!
I suffer a great deal of sleeping disorder, I go in to these sleeping paralysis almost every night, there's always a shadow figure next to me talking to me but I always forget what they say, last night was very special because this one was hooded and touched my legs (I know how fucked up this sounds), I know it's all in my head but I can see feel and hear them ! suppose it's not in my head, how do I get rid of these assholes ?
@alexandreleverrier -pray and have a rosary next to you... i have one near my forehead and i only see the shadows on the walls... but when i don't have any of those rosary back then, i see them leaping on me as i fell asleep, doing as what they please. but when i putthe rosary, it seems like my entire bed had been shielded... because they didn't leap on me anymore... they just walk to four corners of the either side of the bed and not going inside of it!
@alexandreleverrier Read more about sleep paralysis. Once you understand the origin of the phenomenon, your subconscious (which is causing the hallucinations) should stop generating the manifestations. This may take some time, and you have to fully accept that this is a neurological phenomenon, and not supernatural at all. I sometimes suffer from SP but after learning about it it is now just a mild annoyance. I just sit there thinking 'this is just SP, you'll wake up soon.' And I do. Science ftw

@alexandreleverrier You'll find that most paranormal activity will occur when people are either falling asleep, or just after waking up. Simply turning on a light or getting up and walking into a different room for a minute will disperse the phantoms, whether they're a figment of imagination, or not.

It happens when your in dream like wake state and you kinda like wake up example during the midnight but your still half sleeping and it is possible that you will see strange things and it feels like real. About a week ago, I was in my living room around 8:00 P.M. and I saw a shadow move across the wall, and it went into the bathroom. It looked like my little brother's shadow, and I thought it was him. I waited for the light to turn on in the bathroom thinking that it's him in there. 5 minutes go by, and still no light. I got up from the couch, opened the door, turned the light on, and I find nobody in the bathroom. I haven't seen it since.
A month ago I saw one in a sleep paralysis state. First time ever, got a real good look at it before it shook my bed up and down and I snapped out of it. Hard to describe, but the texture was like the space was crumpled up like paper except shadow instead of paper, and light was bent through it like a heat mirage, but not so shiny, bit softer. Yep, hard to describe. What am I seeing that my brain can't interpret? What the hell are they made of? More annoying than scary.
At one point, years ago, I started seeing small, scurrying animal like ones first. My cats would go after them. Then I started seeing gnome-like figures. They caused my cats, after a few seconds perusal, to bolt from the room. Than came the tall, hat figures. I knew when they were about to manifest when my cats would bolt from the room before I could see them. It took a couple of months to get rid of them. I forbade them to ever bother me again. So far, so good.
shadow people are not solid they are a mist. a very dark mist and when they are around your ears will sometimes ring or you will get really cold. The shadow people have been bothering me for as long as i can remember they dont go away even if you tell them to.some times they will say my name and that really scares me. they also tell me to hurt someone they have also forced me to cut me self, they would say (Ryan cut your self or i will) and so i do and they go away. they make me cry im 15 helpme
@RBS1120 Dude, if you have ringing in your ears, see persistant shadows and especially if you hear voices telling you to harm yourself or others, get yourself to your family doctor or other healthcare professional. I have seen these things too, but it's totally different from what you describe. Just tell a doctor exactly what you wrote here and they'll help you out. Peace.
I saw a shadow people. they stood outside a neighbors house looking inside. they looked like they wore a cape but they were not , it was just a dark figure in the shape of a person wearing a cape. they were about 5 foot or so and had a very narrow head ,to long to be human. that's how i knew it wasn't a human. what are they? will they come after me. i am scared. it felt alien in nature.

The second event was much more scary than the first in a sense of what i saw.. but I didnt feel terrified. I was lying on my side at the edge of my bed when I woke up and saw a lil girl with pitch black eyes which curved upwards and a smile with razor sharp teeth that spread from ear to ear. I woke up at 3: 17 and felt as if i was being watched.
I think these are attracted to people or are sent by a higher being or w/e to those that are emotionally distressed to put them in line,idk.. Im 25 and these things have been waking me up for maybe 5-6 years now. But ive only only had 2 terrifying events. One of them jumped on the matress and crawled right up my body and sat on my chest. I closed my eyes and prayed to god, reopened them and looked to see it still staring at me. I also heared many diff voices in my head. It was weird.

When I was a kid, I used to see shadow people in my aunt's home. That was normal to me. One day, when I was 7, I was in her house and other aunt told us ghost stories she had experienced. That same day I saw it again and I got really scared. I have never seen it after that.

Growing up in what was an old Revolutionary War inn I was plagued as a kid by shadow "people". That old house had so much activity that you could fill a season of History/SyFy Channel specials with it. The shadow "people" were indeed small and would dart around corners constantly and linger on the peripheries of one's vision constantly.
Generally shadow people tend to be in groups of three or more. Their generally not malicious and usually precede a negative event. Having just a shadow person around could be a tie to you, a place, or are serving a particular purpose; whether it be for themselves or whatever entity greater than they are. @onikuma25 The second shouldn't be classified as a shadow person but more of a shadow creature. Shadow creatures sure as hell aren't benign and look VERY different from shadow people. A friend of mine, who shall remain anonymous, saw one as a kid and it introduced itself as ":No Fingers"and wore the hat. The one I saw as a kid looked like a gaunt, starved human and had sickeningly glowing orange eyes.

I wasn't lumping them all together, just speaking of shadow people themselves. Not all shadow creatures, people and the like are malicious. Some mess with you some don't. The more fear you release, btb, fuels them more. As long as they know you're scared then they continue to act upon that, the 'bad' ones anyway.
I have seen a shadow person. There was no drama in the situation. It was stood outside a window watching me. When I noticed it it just turned and waked away. It could not have been a shadow cast on the window.
The second shadow person photo looked fake, but I know the first one is real, I believe in that stuff because I have personally seen those things my whole life. Thank the gods I am knowledgeable enough to ward them off.
Do not fear these shadow people as they are not demons, they are in fact people who were probably very sick before they passed and have a low energy source that is why they look like a shodow.

They keep using strange metaphors (often religious ones, even though I myself have never been religious) to tell me things about my own past, present and future. Wow, I never realized that this was a thing. I have been seeing Shadow Person(s) since I was a little girl on a regular basis. I am 30 now. I see them outside, inside, alone or with other people. I am so use to them being there. Standing in doorways, watching me. I am not really "afraid" of them, because I am so use to them. But after I see them my heart always starts beating really fast. i have seen a shadow person alot
sometimes in my home and sometimes in other peoples homes but its always the same figure
6-7 ft tall, wearing a hat, and i usually see it out of the corner of my eye
also one time i woke up from a nightmare and i felt like something was pinning me down. i was so scared i wanted to yell but i was also so scared that i could not. when i could move i saw the shadow standing near my window and it stayed there for a bit before disappearing. it seems to be following me

I see them all the time. I use to think it was the house I live in but I moved and they are here as well. its like they follow me. they don't bother me but they can freak me out if I'm not expecting them. I catch them out the corner of my eyes. i pay no attention to them any way I act like I don't see them. I know they are real cause they do freak my dogs out at times. I have 3 and they all freak out at the same time. I wish I knew what they are.

Ive had this happen to me quite a few times over the years but never seen "shadow people" just couldnt wake up but can see and hear everything.I remember watching some show years ago where they recreated a sleep paralysis in a clinical setting by electric stimuli and the people would swear they seen shadow people or felt a presence in the room but it was from the electric stimuli connected to their heads.They filmed it and all the people would have similar experiences.

There was a light behind the guy with the camera, and the pic was taken without the flash on so all you see is the shadow of the living person holding the camera with one arm and the other to his side makeing it look like a ghost with one arm. This guy needs a wakeup call.

Shadow People are not 3-4 feet tall. They are 7-8 feet tall and the smaller ones that accompany the bigger ones are about 5-6 feet tall. Believe me I have had many encounters with them. I suffer a great deal of sleeping disorder, I go in to these sleeping paralysis almost every night, there's always a shadow figure next to me talking to me but I always forget what they say, last night was very special because this one was hooded and touched my legs (I know how fucked up this sounds), I know it's all in my head but I can see feel and hear them ! suppose it's not in my head, how do I get rid of these assholes ?

Once you understand the origin of the phenomenon, your subconscious (which is causing the hallucinations) should stop generating the manifestations. This may take some time, and you have to fully accept that this is a neurological phenomenon, and not supernatural at all. I sometimes suffer from SP but after learning about it it is now just a mild annoyance. I just sit there thinking 'this is just SP, you'll wake up soon.' And I do. Science ftw

Simply turning on a light or getting up and walking into a different room for a minute will disperse the phantoms, whether they're a figment of imagination, or not.

About a week ago, I was in my living room around 8:00 P.M. and I saw a shadow move across the wall, and it went into the bathroom. It looked like my little brother's shadow, and I thought it was him. I waited for the light to turn on in the bathroom thinking that it's him in there. 5 minutes go by, and still no light. I got up from the couch, opened the door, turned the light on, and I find nobody in the bathroom. I haven't seen it since.

A month ago I saw one in a sleep paralysis state. First time ever, got a real good look at it before it shook my bed up and down and I snapped out of it. Hard to describe, but the texture was like the space was crumpled up like paper except shadow instead of paper, and light was bent through it like a heat mirage, but not so shiny, bit softer. Yep, hard to describe. What am I seeing that my brain can't interpret? What the hell are they made of? More annoying than scary.

At one point, years ago, I started seeing small, scurrying animal like ones first. My cats would go after them. Then I started seeing gnome-like figures. They caused my cats, after a few seconds perusal, to bolt from the room. Than came the tall, hat figures. I knew when they were about to manifest when my cats would bolt from the room before I could see them. It took a couple of months to get rid of them. I forbade them to ever bother me again. So far, so good.

The second event was much more scary than the first in a sense of what i saw.. but I didnt feel terrified. I was lying on my side at the edge of my bed when I woke up and saw a lil girl with pitch black eyes which curved upwards and a smile with razor sharp teeth that spread from ear to ear. I saw it for only a few seconds before I felt back to sleep. But I know what I saw. I had recently moved and never thought more of it until last night. I think these are attracted to people or are sent by a higher being or w/e to those that are emotionally distressed to put them in line,idk.. I along with my Brother and a friend saw 3 shadow persons around us just at the edge of the Oil derrick we had stopped at. I said too them who had spotted them theirs nothing their! so I charged towards the closest one I stopped about 6 feet in front of one clearly seeing a human like form in front of me as I posse for several seconds just staring at this thing it shifted its foot on the gravel. When I was a kid, I used to see shadow people in my aunt's home. That was normal to me. One day, when I was 7, I was in her house and other aunt told us ghost stories she had experienced. That same day I saw it again and I got really scared. I have never seen it after that.

Growing up in what was an old Revolutionary War inn I was plagued as a kid by shadow "people". That old house had so much activity that you could fill a season of History/SyFy Channel specials with it. The shadow "people" were indeed small and would dart around corners constantly and linger on the peripheries of one's vision constantly.

Generally shadow people tend to be in groups of three or more. Their generally not malicious and usually precede a negative event. Having just a shadow person around could be a tie to you, a place, or are serving a particular purpose; whether it be for themselves or whatever entity greater than they are. A friend of mine, who shall remain anonymous, saw one as a kid and it introduced itself as ":No Fingers"and wore the hat. The one I saw as a kid looked like a gaunt, starved human and had sickeningly glowing orange eyes.

lol i've seen shadow persons all the time. Many times in my house but they don't do anything. They just kinda hang around and walk around. Tho, demons..stay as far from them as you can. I'm still in the process of trying to get rid of them...it sucks..

I've never seen one, but I think it's very possible. I don't know why believing that paranormal things can happen is looked down upon because we know so little about this world. Only close-minded people would rule it out. 5*

@MagicalOillusions if you see them they are short black very black and run really really fast. if your ears ring or you get cold they are around.they do not go away they will not leave you alone. I see them all day every day. they scare me and i dont understand what they want if i ask them what they want they just whisper my name. and when they say my name its really creepy. but there are two difrient type of shadow people there is the hat man or the hooded man.

I see flashes or small flicker of lights in my bedroom at night before I go to sleep.

Hey John, have you ever taken an interest in signs? I see them all around me. They keep using strange metaphors (often religious ones, even though I myself have never been religious) to tell me things about my own past, present and future. I know this aspect of things cannot be mental illness because they are out there in the "real" world for others to see (even if I am the only one who has ever seen the "whole picture").
