Both use Radio Frequency ( microwaves ) and both identify - one the location - the other the identity.

factsnow is right every cell phone has one and if your car has onstar it does too .gps and rfid ,v chip, onstar ,cell phones and even most products you buy even pepsi cans check it out for your self.

Unfortunatly my cellphone has no GPS. But You are right the phone-company can track my phone if its on.

But if You dont want this, then simply swap Your cell-phone with the hany from somebody else...

Even if a cell phone doesn't offer the option to turn GPS on or off it's still RFchipped and they can and will find you whether your phone is on or off. Anything with a radio frequency has this chip walkie talkies, taxi's, CB's wireless guitar transmitters, anything that can send or receive a signal.

If my phone dosent send somting, then nobody can track it. And i dont belief in "this chip". Nobody builts traking devices in walkie talkies if there is no need to it. Its only expensiv use battery and makes the device less relable...

no i claim that triangulation can find any electronic transmitted signal ! but some things like cell phones even when they are turn off can be tracked !did you get the vid i sent you?

Real ID will be implemented in 2009. Once you're in the national database, you're in for good. The only way to stay out of it is to go to a state that has outlawed Real ID
