  • Why we don't have such Festival in Canada!? that sooo unfair! I wan't to live in Japan now! XD

  • Japanese schoollife seems so much more fun than in Germany ... Really school sucks balls here =_= it's so cheap and freaking annoying rubbish and not fun at all ... I'd rather wish to experience once something like I saw here ~_~

  • Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaice ^_^

  • we had this in america....for elementary lol after that we never had it, id love it if we continued to have it up until 12th

  • When I went to school in jamaica we had sports day which is similar to this.

  • 2:29 - 2:36 was soo AWESOME XD

  • Why doesn't America do stuff like this with schools? DAMNIT >:

  • it´s fun even just watching ^_^

  • lol it's soooo cute and really actually funny for me :D

i can't explain it so much cuz it's hard but it's so fun!

  • Are you the only American or non Japanese at your school?

  • That looks so fun T . T

  • That looks fuuun. All I did was wrestle competitively for school.

  • Oh wow.. O__O I'm impressed.

  • This makes my school athletics look like dog shit lol

  • oh my god this is cuteeeeeeeee and funn!!

  • Lol @ 2:25 with the team next to yours (? the one closest to the camera) They tried to tell them to stop in the front but didn't get it until late so the front started backing up while the back kept going forward and squished the kids in the middle. I laugh at that part every time.

  • meanwhile in the US....uhhhmmmm....this burger taste good

  • @khoihq LOL

  • butt in the face!!!.

  • ninja's in training!

  • hahaha that looked really fun, i would like to see those activities done in american high schools xD

  • Hey were you required to dye your hair black? Or was this a personal choice.. or maybe it just looks black in this video haha.

  • Haha, there were some interesting concepts in there. Very cool.

  • i believe only schools in east and south east asia has events like taiikusai in their schools coz in my previous school in the philippines we have an event this like every year as well..i saw some in korea and taiwan too!!

btw were the boys at the blue team dancing to EXILE's "Fireworks"??

and to all of you guys, like many asian schools, they don't allow students to dye their hair or have very "fashionable-like" hairstyles coz they believe it's distracting in their studies..TRUST ME!

  • Comment removed

  • @gamegina I think it has nothing to do with their studies, I think it's more because all the students have to be uniform, which is also why wearing a uniform is required.

  • @animemanga0305 I guess...but I also heard from some people that it's a distraction. I mean what would you think if there's a girl all of a sudden in your class that has highlights when everyone's hair is pure black xD

  • @gamegina Haha well I don't know it's a matter of getting used to it.. :\ In animes they all have different hair colours... from black to pink... LOL but that's anime... (I'm just kidding ofcourse).

  • 背中が折れそう

  • ohmygawd!!! looks so super fun! did u take part in any? i like theone where every one has to hold each other waist and run and lie and run and then lie on the floor again! looks so cool!!!!!!!!!!!!! like dominoes. wait...did i spell lie correctly or isit lay?

  • 面白い!

  • How fun! I've seen this is media and read it in books, and I thought it was just fiction, but this really seems like a lot of fun!

  • Aww, this looked like super fun. I wish my high school did this.

I'm going to miss your videos.

Are you looking forward to coming back to the States?

  • Sucks america doesn't have these things to do. Super boring... :/

  • My High School had something like this . I was called sports night and we had two teams. It was only uperclassmen that could be in it. WE has crazt relays and dances to make up

  • It's a true pity that Americans (well, at least in my art) aren't as friendly and get-together-ish in high schools. So, lemme get this straight. You are attending high school in Japan (through an exchange student/some kind of program), correct?

  • When does the school year end????

  • nice vid! just so you know for the title, the romaji should be "taiikusai"

  • aww your leaving soon that kinda sucks

  • I love your videos, i feel like im experiencing japan though you. Its so weird but dont stop making videos :D

  • omg your hair is black... it looks so good on you!!! ;DDD

  • @Nightberrii Yeah I noticed it too, but for some reason I though I saw it wrong...

  • @Nightberrii I agree! :D

Btw if you didnt know, Japanese schools dont let you dye your hair untill you graduate from Highschool. Unless there like foreginers. Yup!

  • If only Amerika was just as tanoshii... :(

    sugoi bideo! ^_^

  • Nice vid, They're so coordinated over there. We'd never be able to organise something like that! And why the hell is everyone able to do backflips? haha

btw I was watching 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time' and you really look like the main character in it, Makoto Konno! haha

  • @SteJVideo, holy crap you're right, the resemblance is uncanny LOL

anyway, Kat, it sucks you're leaving soon, any plans on returning to Japan in the future?

  • I wish they had things like this in america.

then maybe we wouldnt be the fatest country in the world.

  • @volleyball994pimp America isn't the fattest country in the world. American Samoa (pacific islanders) is with 93% of the population fat. Kiribati is next with 81 % and America is 3rd with 66%. And Germany is 4th with also 66%.

  • @missbham205 I thought most of the american samoa were in cluded win america.

  • @volleyball994pimp I don't think so. They have there own little country.

  • Where they have to hold on to eachother, lie on the backs and get up again looks fun. What is that called?

  • NICE VID. Thumb up

But I really want to know why japanese high schools i ever saw don't have lawns and Rekortan tracks on their playground . It looks dusty and it must be very muddy when it rains . I don't think the schools have no money to build those.

  • I love japan, and I also love your eyes.

  • Looks fun! Sorry your time there is ending soon! I'm about to leave Japan as well (though my visit is only 3 weeks long XD) Hope you have a great time!!

  • WOW.... looks like a lot of fun, the running on backs was a bit weird though
