@fargizzle We generated the MIDI messages (using our own FPGA code and software driver) that are being sent to a Casio keyboard. Could have used something nicer, but the keyboard was already laying around in the lab. The surface is just a run-of-the-mill LCD computer screen with a transparent touch screen laid on top of it. No Max/MSP involved. :)
