dude cooney. have you noticed that the girl sitting behind you looks really REALLY similar to the girl in your ice cream video? look back in this video to 6:40. i think she looks the same =/.
you need to do more videos, more more more more more more more more more more more more more more more more more more more more more. and a few more after that.
a parasite museum..sounds like something they'd have in Minneapolis. ...only sophisticated. thank you for (me) because i can't go there. i am poor. sad me.
So I was sitting at my desk, bored as I ate my dinner, when I came up with this wonderful idea. I thought I should watch one of Tokyocooney's old yet super awesome videos while I eat. Wonderful Idea!
Guess which video I decided to watch while eating. XD
Worst selection ever. I'll go check another one. Let's hope it's nothing gross.
I trust Japanese food health standards far more than American ones. Looking at the fact that the average Japanese person lives to be 85 and that America still hasn't banned Trans fat and High Fructose Corn Syrup is what does it for me.
Too true, America really is unhealthy. =/ Japan is like, one of those germless utopias in a big bubble you hear about in sci-fi flicks. In Japan, I wouldn't mind eating things like raw chicken or such. In America? Err...no.
no. sushi while primarily raw fish, often has omelet on it, or other things.... and the majority of japanese foods do NOT have sake in them, even if they do, the alcohol has been cooked off. ANd if not, well, what's the point of sake anyways right
I've heard it all. "98% of the cells in your body are bascteria." "Did you know you can't live without bacteria?" "There are millions of germs on yuor hands right now." I've heard it all. Haha. I'm still germaphobic though. It changes nothing. Lol.
It's less likely, but vegetables grown in swamp like areas, like celery or mushrooms, can carry germs and parasites. But if you clean them thoroughly, you should be fine. It's not worth worrying over.

paperkitten is right...also wtf? you are defending risky ass food because its an old ass tradition and you chose to live there and eat snake ice cream goddamn dude grow up
Japan--no, most east Asian countries seem like they're quite sanitary and protective of their citizens. I think I'd be more comfortable eating some sushi right about now, rather than going and eating that aforementioned Cheeseburger.
Lol, he doesn't eat the parasite directly from his ass since it's probably because you didnt wipe your ass properly and you scratch your ass like a few minutes/hours later and you get it on your hands then you eat without washing your hands first. :D
When I was 8, we still had mandatory parasite check in my area in Japan. Every year, I had to collect my stool at home, put it in a plastic test tube and submit it to the lab via school.
At that year, they found parasite in my stool. Why? Because I collected John's instead of mine since that was much easier. By the way, John was my precious Dachshund.
Since I was the only one who had parasite in my class, and that was known by everybody, imagine the discrimination I have experienced.
thank you very much for the advice about just putting it "down the hatch" and not working about what you eat. I'll keep this in mind when I enter this foreign, although I love Japanese food, especially sushi.
Hahaha, my husband went there too (I refused to go, and stayed in the Ryokan to sleep) He even got postcards there (I don't think he is planning to send them to his parents anytime soon) :P
Great vid man! I tried pretty much everything when I was there and I thought the same thing... They are still alive! My mom always told me not to eat the cookie dough bc of the raw egg and that is everywhere over there. I had to overcome some preconceived idea's for sure! I also ate raw horse and raw fugu... I loved walking down the street and eating walky walky (see video above) Eat it Easy!
For some reason, I was paying a lot more attention to the girls in the background, playing on their cell phones, talking about how something was kawaii... o.O

from my point of view it's not really "risk"
by the word "rare" he means that you probably never encounter them in your life time on average.
And even if you catch it the fatality is even less, you will get better in a few days after you had your treatment.
