woo.. ok the video is of a very functional biquad... then he went on to a cantenna???
the sqaure element biquad is a great antenna, but even better as a dish feed..
the cantenna can be used as a dish feed to but its got a narrow beamwidth, so its gunna take some pissing around to get it alinged with the satelite dish focal point..
to xxxyyyraptor no it wont do 2.5km alone, but on a parabolic dish, 5+ easy, and interference is not in dispute, its always calculated on a clear line of sight
having Just one high gain antennas is Usless for long range connectiion without a second high gain antenna on the other side so basically because you have a powerfull high gain antenna does not mean you will be able to pickup wifis from miles away unless you have another high gain antennas on the other side having just one high gain antenna it might pickup lots of wifis but connecting to most of them is impossible signal will be to weak!!!
very poorly made...angles not precize..2.5km??haha not a chance..i made antennas 500% more precize and still i can make a connection on 1-1.5 km max...
@xxxyyyraptor angles are not in question. clear line of sight. please read wireless technology how it works, before pointing the finger and saying it doesn't work.
the 2.5 km are measured in straight line . from point A to point B .
Hmm... good :)
