The camera is new, sealed in the package. The internal camera memory is 32mb and can take up to a 2gb SD card that must be purchased by the owner.

I want to get a helmet camera but since the only thing i would be using it is snowboarding i think im going to wait until the next season. If i were to buy now, i was thinking about atc-2000, although helmet hero and atc-3k are just $30-$40 more expensive.

I'm only concerned about the wobble effect, it's horrible! Does anyone know if its better on 3k or helmet hero?

Hi, thanks for the input. I've decided some months ago to get the helmet hero. I live in Serbia though, so it's a bit tricky to order. I'll probably be going to the USA in a couple of weeks so ill get one. I've found them for $150-$160, and i think they're worth it.

die Kamera nicht fest am Motorrad/Fahrrad montieren, sondern irgendwie/wo am eigenen Körper, dadurch werden Vibrationen am besten abgefedert.

Well, i just got this camera... and im still trying to figure out a way to attach it to my 661 full bravo helmet ... it appears that theres just NO way to do it with the attachment tools which come with helmet... I guess im just going to have to use duck tape or something ...

Camera has an easy mounting system for both bike helmet and for the handle bars.

This camera is MADE to be mounted on a moving object. It has connectors to mount on bars like handle bars. I have seen some who have mounted it on the side of a bike and gotten a great view of their ride.

It does, however, pick up the sounds of your ride and can be rather noisy.

This camera is also able to be used under water at depths of 3 meters and the video quality is surprisingly good.

also, one more thing, are u narrating as u watch the video in another mic, or are u talking as you're biking at the start of the video?

The video was created using video editing software. The commentary was added to the video however the ATC 2000 does have a built-in microphone that is very sensative to sound. It will pick up the sounds of your travel. Voice of the user is not as strong as the microphone position is pointed forward. The camera is better at recording at which it is pointed.

can you twist the camera to make it look upright, say I wanted to mount it onto the side of my dirt bike helmet, can u turn it so it's recording right side up?

Yes, the camera can be mounted in that fashion. There are accessories that are included with the camera allowing a side mount on your helmet and the camera can be rotated within this mount so your video will be upright.

Yes, it is the very same camera as is being offered on that website however that price is very high.

As to how long one can record, on a 2GB SD card you can record one hour's worth of video.

Glad you liked the way the camera performed. The video was unaltered. Windows Movie Maker was used to assemble the video shown on YouTube which has no way of 'deshaking' any video.
