I can't believe how perfectly timed those bars were. I was like " ohh they will finish way before its over" at first, and at the end I was like " is it gonna finish?! No I dont think it will! It almost o.o... Ya it jus made it!" lol I'm so bored.
People are not to understand anime but to enjoy it? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. How would one enjoy any anime if he/she was not able to understand it?

Anyway, NGE is kinda a hate-love thing for me. I loved the EVAs and the fight scenes, but I hated the psycho, depressed and far-out ending and the schizophrenic stuff, that just creeped me out...
Evangelion was NEVER about the fight scenes, it was always about the people involved
And far-out ending? It all made total sense to me, espepcially when I saw part way through the movie that everything happened in the movie and in Episodes 25/26 were concurrent to each other

@yibbell how could you say that the ending was poor? i think it was epic i can make so many interpretations for that ending, it's a work of art (yeah i know, exaggerated much, it may not be my major but i took 2 courses on humanities and literature and taken a liking on it) a bit tragic though that there is no assurance that all of people who died in the 3rd impact would be revived if they want to go back and humanity's only hope rests in the hands of two "mentally unstable" teenage kids

TBH, I liked LOTR, but it's mainly b/c I never read the book. I'm positive the book is much, much better.
