I'm white (half Hispanic, half German), so don't get me wrong. Just making an observation: the people that created the environment of deep racial oppression that this music came out of and the people that are now paying black people to perform this music for their entertainment are the same people.

To clear things up a bit. The cymbal on his left is a Sabian AA Raw Ride. This is not to say that he doesn't use cymbals from other brands. He does endorse Sabian and uses them exclusively. But on the "off change" that the back-line provided isn't what you endorse, I would assume you have to make due with what's at hand. There's a clip of Dennis Chambers playing a DW kit (Blasphamy!) but that was in Russia where I guess a Pearl kit was hard to get.
