Did Jesus Say He is God? Do Christians Know the Name of God?

I am a former agnostic after seeing this video. Islam just makes too much sense and really shatters the christian belief in a sense of contradictions. My interpretation of god is the anuunaki (Allah) and islam is how they lived their lives and how you can be with them.

I am an Athiest and do not beleive in God, yet if I had to choose only between Bible and Qur'an, Qur'an would be my choice everytime.

I'd rather stick with a Book that hasn't been edited and translated compared with multiple books merged together (Bible) and then translated multiple times.

A point I've been trying to make for years. People seem to worship "Jesus" and just "believe in" god. All of your churches are blaphemese against your own religion. You have idols (the crucifix - with or without "Jesus" on it) and your attention of worship is misplaced. By all rights, your churches should be like the inside of a shoe box since you can't create an image of something that is unknowable. Just my opinion.

Matthew 19:17 is where Jesus deflects worship of himself to his Dad, the Father.

He did the same thing in the "Lords Prayer"

He prayed that his father "In Heaven" (not on earth)his fathers Name (not his own name) be sanctified. Jesus wasn't praying for his own name and wasn't admonishing his followers to pray to him either.

Here are seven scriptures to look up where Jesus says " who sent me ", referring to his father.

John 1:33, 5:37, 6:44, 8:16-18, 12:49, 14:24.

Deedat, Give me a direct statement of Jesus in the Bible where he said "I am not God." If you can show me the statement, I will convert to Islam. If you don't, admit that Allah is not God, and Muhammed is a false prophet. That's a challenge.

I just wanted to say that you can't be Christian and say "Allah is not God" because allah is literally just the arabic word for God. God the word is germanic in origin. This guy has a serious point.

jesus explicitly stated "I am the Son of God" so says matthew, john, luke and mark.

His only statement was that "through me you will see heaven..." just like muhammad said that through the quaran you will be saved (sorry im not that well versed in islam)

I really don't understand the concept of the holy spirit either, if any christians are here can you please try and clairify...

The Greek word for God is θεός Theos. The ignorance of the Christian regarding the languages from which their Bible was translated from never ceases to amaze me. I have met Christians who still believe to this day that the 4 Canonical Gospels are still in Hebrew/Aramaic and are translated into whatever language they speak from the original Hebrew/Aramaic texts hand written by the Disciples themselves (may Allah have Mercy on them).
