0-62mph in 6.5 isn't too shabby. I have several cars but recently got a 96 Sebring lxi 2.5L automatic. I opened it up and let it shift manualy and it went to the redline before shifting (I think it was 6500) and I was surprised and impressed. I have lots faster cars but I think I dig this little 2.5. I remember working at a mitsu dealer and driving a mx-6 with 3.0 and 5spd. it seemed to get it. I wonder how hard of a swap the 2.5 to 3.0 would be??? neway nice run. 7K it's breathing well.

Bro, Performance filter and full exhaust.. My car now does 6.5 seconds to 0-100kmh with a wearng out clutch. same motor as yours

i completely started with stationer rpm (not in high rpm) , and not playing at all with my clutch pedal...i do it JUST SHOWING THE WORST PERFORMANCE FROM THIS CAR with standart engine and standart velg.

I have a V6 2.5 Galant like that in Brazil. But it's automatic. But it's not bad. Less than 8secs (0-100). His gear is good even the auto one. :)

Mr.Marcelosouza,I only got about 8.4sec, because I started with low rpm (exactly stationer rpm).

If I tried to start with standing start (3000rpm), maybe I will got less than 8 sec (maybe 7.x sec).
