The verse I am talking about, in Sura 109, is a Meccan verse, meaning it was revealed in Makkah, at a time when Muhammad was not powerful and had few followers. You can't understand the 8th Surah without learning the story of the battle of Bader. As for the 9th Surrah. It's revealed after some Arab tribes had repeatedly broke their agreements with the Muslims. The verses sound strict, firm, but the Surah isn't missing the other side. It also talks about the exceptions & makes it clear that things aren't to be taken to the extreme.

@Peocles I have little to no beliefs. And i have already been to that source. I have checked both the negative and positives of Islam. I suggest however that you read the Qua'ran. And look into the contradictions, and also research abrogation. Also i have never denied that in accordance to today's moral laws; Islam is an outdated and quite sickening religion at points. Nobody in Palestine, Jordan and Egypt (the places where I lived) condemned terrorism. We would shout takbir out our windows when we heard about a suicide bombing in Jerusalem. The worst part is that the Qur'an, and the Hadith completely support these things. Sure, you can say Qur'an says "to you your beliefs and to me mine", and say Islam is therefore peaceful, but you would be ignoring the fact that it has been abrogated by the later verse "... and kill the disbelievers wherever ye find them."

The verse I am talking about, in Sura 109, is a Meccan verse, meaning it was revealed in Makkah, at a time when Muhammad was not powerful and had few followers. It was a peaceful verse, meant to draw people to Islam. Once Muhammad took power, he introduced many violent verses that superceded Sura 109. Please educate yourself before telling me I am incorrect.

They took her to the square near Masjid an Nasr and stoned her to death. I didn't come, and none of my family did. But on Al Quds TV they showed the stoning, and they said that this whore was receiving Allah's mercy. They talked about it like an American news channel discussed the apprehension of a killer. You can't understand the 8th Surah without learning the story of the battle of Bader. As for the 9th Surrah. It's revealed after some Arab tribes had repeatedly broke their agreements with the Muslims. The verses sound strict, firm, but the Surah isn't missing the other side. It also talks about the exceptions & makes it clear that things aren't to be taken to the extreme.

That was one of the things that caused the "Cronulla riots" Muslim youths harassing women & girls on the beaches. All Halhal meat should be banned here & the way the Government handled that situation was disgusting. They bowed down to the big cattle station.

I like you video's, I have studied Islam, but am Christian. I have many friends some muslim, some christian.. I believe everyone has a right to believe in the God, or religon they choose, it's sad that there are extremest in both religons, but that one gets called out more than the other. Keep teaching maybe more will listen..

I appreciate Ali's criticism but I am Muslim and am still a bit unsatisfied with this. He needs to mention that Arabizing is the problem and that countries should be less arabized!! Islam has a tendency to arabize everyone or everything, stand up againt colonialism, this arabization is the problem

@BallerandRunner yep. That argument is always ignored in Islam because Arabising is the reason Islam expanded so much. In essence its the same thing the Romans did with Christianity. Use it for their own power Of course the #1 argument is that allah send the Quran in Arabic which is actually not exactly true and for some strange reason Mohammed never put the effort to compile it to a book after 56 years!
You would think it would be his number 1 priority.
Oh and did Allah forget about Asians???
