  • You know you're good when there is an Adam Rapa video suggestion next to your video

  • Playa playa!

  • I am a fan of Jazz and the mute trumpet I find always adds such depth. I feel that my love for this certain love began from what is a very 'Movie' like setting for a moment in my life. I am out walking on a rainy night, no wind, just rain bouncing hard on the ground, and in the distance, the sound of a mute trumpet playing jazz. Someone practicing I guess, but nice all the same. You play well fiend :)

  • This is good stuff man! How long did it take you to play at this level? Me jelly :)

  • Nice man that was sweet.

  • REAL FUNKY DUDE !!! I'd Love to jam with you. Where are you located ???

  • Freakin' awesome man!

  • This is awesome!!!!

  • ive watched this about a dozen times n i just realized he has a left handed trumpet XD lol

  • @themadmexican1 I don't think he's left handed since the bell is on the right side, not the left. It's more likely the video's been horizontally flipped.

  • @themadmexican1 Could be from the camera flipping.

  • damn u got skills man

  • hey dude... were you recording your reflection? or do you have a crazy backwards trumpet? nice licks though :)

  • @paulcakebreadable

    he's probably left handed haha

    anyways killer solo bro!!

  • Thanks for your email and hope you are playing loads as you are SOOOOoooooo good. Best of luck all round, Bigglesbury

  • Thanks for the information on the trumpet. I know what to save up for now. Really enjoyed listening to this again so thanks again.

  • @Bigglesbury Thanks for the comment man! sorry for such a late response. If you're looking for a good trumpet I'd recommend going to a music store and testing several different pro brand trumpets to see which fits you the best. Some solid brands include Getzen, Bach, Kanstul, Yamaha, Conn, and Schilke. Personally, I play on a Yamaha Bobby Shew YTR 8310Z. Good luck!

  • teach me master - what key is the piece in so I can try to improv?

  • dude left-handed trumpet? nice...any particular reason?

  • @eieio585 ... um maybe because he is left handed lol :)

  • wow , i love this

  • That was great. How long have you been playing to get so good? Can you suggest a good trumpet make for someone starting out? Is yours something special? Thanks for putting this on Youtube. I really liked the sound. I've been looking for a clip with your sort of sound on it. Lovely.

  • @Bigglesbury Bach Stradivarius= one of the best models I've ever played, you can get a good deal on craigslist, but be patient!!!!

  • this is great man you should come to dreyfoos man haha

  • Outstanding ... and I'm another horn player (trumpet) so I know what goes into being able to play like that ... great array of ideas you kept me interested ... and the articulation thru the mute was working well

  • Great improv !!!!

  • I love it! :) Wish I could improv like that :)

  • very nice man! nice tone! nice ideas!

  • nice!

  • You're very good at improv. But, I'm your enemy.. aka, a saxophone player. So, my compliment doesn't really count. :P lol

  • Yeah Bb. That's why we trumpets love it

  • dude was this improv?

  • @CogSlayer98 Yah!

  • nice groove....

  • I really enjoyed it. You might want to check out the Chameleon I have up. Big band playing it with a great drum solo. Check out their trumpet solo.

  • great man. keep blowing

  • what blues scale is that in?

  • @pacurcouch you mean key? prolly b flat

  • @echoes12668 Yup, It is in Bb.

  • what kind of mute is that, sounds like a harmon, but doesnt look like one

  • Its a copper harmon mute. They are pretty common and priced around 40 - 50 bucks. Copper loses its shine over time, so that may seem why it looks odd. Thanks for checking out the video!

  • @shwizzy Is it bubble-shaped as well, or is it just the light that makes it look that way?

  • @shwizzy its a bubble! lol that's why it does't look like a harmon. It made by jo ral. They come in copper and aluminum I highly recomend the copper, more price but better sound and stronger.

  • @guitarhero31333 I think the brand is Jo Ral...... right?

  • that solo was sick man

  • nice dude! the solo in my book is way different, awesome job!
