I played a Playstation One import demo, called "Remote Control Dandy" on a playstation underground disc. The graphics were considerably more crude in the PS1 import demo that I played, and the anime art styled seem to be more of a serious tone. In every way, the demo import on that disk was a first-person version of RAD, right down to how the robot moved and felt (the robots in this video seem to move rather stiff. The demo import of RCD had more "weight" in the robots, like in RAD.)
I wish they would release this here, as well as a sequal to Rad. I want more remote control robot games. it's such a unique and awesome idea to design a game around
Awesome game! Nothing like it or the other Sandlot mech games.. Although I am stuck at one campaign stage where you have to battle a robot with a robot hand mouned at its back. I get a Failed Mission message when I kill it so I guess it has something to do with that hand on its back. Does anybody out there know how to get past this stage and what needs to be done? If I could only read Japanese X-I
isn't the robot you play in that stage color black and yellow?
if so you must let that robot you fight against down on the ground by use a powerful punch and while his down press select and move kawara then fly to that robot and prees triangle in a particular area comes as a signal .
Yes I think that's the stage with the black and yellow striped robot. I think I tried this at some point when I knocked the robot down - though I will try it again tonight, maybe I just missed that signal or something. Thanks!
as i thought also i forget to mention that when you fly get land on the robot then prees triangle to shot the water cuz you must get down the heat of bomb or whatever is.
where;s the blue robot that you used in the PS1 game? does it make a return appearance?
