If you run a piece of copper pipe along the lenght of the roof up by the ridge,wait for rain to hit it so as to ru n down the roof.It won't happen overnite.It take a will for this to do its job,but it will work.I think a galvinized pipe works to,but not sure.

Yes, I believe so. Something to do with the copper creating copper sulphate when wet, which inhibits moss growth
