Great accomplishment. I had a 2000 Ninja ZX-9R and hit 155mph and got blown away. I could never do more than 200 in one of those bikes. It takes balls.

Confused why they dont run them and instead put weights on the front Seems to me that a stretched enough swingarm helps with the front end lifting up and a widetire kit=more friction on the road but it also means more overall weight but he says full boost he's burning the tire off because hes not hooking up? Can someone explane why they dont do this..and actually make since?
all i have to say is 500+ hp in a street bike and he thinks he can make about 200hp more you people are pretty crazy for puttin something inbetween your legs that has over 500 hp

Why would they speed thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours on their machines? Obviously because it's their hobby. It's not only an exciting sport but also an intellectual engineering pursuit. Hundreds of hours building and tuning their motorcycles just to ride for 30 seconds. For many, like you, it wouldn't make sense.

yea that shiit is some shiit man my uncles has a home made turbo kit on his 05 repsol and yea he did 7.238 at the 1/4 mile race that shiit is some shiit man
theyre both dead heats, theres 12cc in it i beleive, bigcc do 700hp kits for both not that ull ever put down more than 550 so top speeds equal, the busa's always been known to have lots of mid range get up and go, the zx when came out was relatively more powerful higher up but has recently leveled the mid range with the busa, i preffer the zx14 but respect the busa (suzuki didnt update it for over 7 years which is both good and bad)
try a test ride of both is the best option, let us know after
@666theshred the busa is faster up to like 100, then the zx takes over (my zx14 lags behind my boys busa till i hit about 100 then i fly by him), but either way they are both straight line bikes, if u wanna do anything like turn or be quick around town get a 600 maybe a 1000 if your big enough the only time i ride my zx is at the drag strip, all the other times my r6 does the job

It doesnt make a bit of difference how mutch dyno power you are making PERIOD. It is about usable power. Most guys will run 300-450hp. If you think for a minute that a 1200hp BMW from the 1980 is in the same caliber and a Turbo (Nos) spooled Motorcycle you are a lost soul.

theyre both dead heats, theres 12cc in it i beleive, bigcc do 700hp kits for both not that ull ever put down more than 550 so top speeds equal, the busa's always been known to have lots of mid range get up and go, the zx when came out was relatively more powerful higher up but has recently leveled the mid range with the busa, i preffer the zx14 but respect the busa (suzuki didnt update it for over 7 years which is both good and bad)
try a test ride of both is the best option, let us know after

@666theshred the busa is faster up to like 100, then the zx takes over (my zx14 lags behind my boys busa till i hit about 100 then i fly by him), but either way they are both straight line bikes, if u wanna do anything like turn or be quick around town get a 600 maybe a 1000 if your big enough the only time i ride my zx is at the drag strip, all the other times my r6 does the job

It doesnt make a bit of difference how mutch dyno power you are making PERIOD. It is about usable power. Most guys will run 300-450hp. There is a lot more to just reading about something and doing it. You will most always find someone that shares you passion to advise you what not to do. If you think for a minute that a 1200hp BMW from the 1980 is in the same caliber and a Turbo (Nos) spooled Motorcycle you are a lost soul.

Have you ridden a bike at a true 200mph? I had done a 226mph (with tail wind on my bike) and my balls were up my throat despite goin 210+ all these while. I own a crap Kawasaki and yes the busa is easier to mod, but I have thumped an 08 busa here or there. It always depends on the riders abilities. Stock to stock they are so close.
