Simon Wessely is my FAVORITE, I even read his book... and dealt with his demon-spawn over here in Canada. There's hope, watch my vids, Wessely-types are on their way down.
Jail would be much more appropriate punishment for what the Unum Corp. Execs and its so-called "medical" psychiatric minions/paid for lobby have done to hundreds of thousands of innocent sick people located everywhere in the world.
"In lies we trust" - should be the Unum Corp. Slogan - Watch and learn the utter disgrace of some, in their pursuance to satisfy an insatiable greed of money! Very Sad, actually
Do the deceivers not understand there IS a much higher level of justice in the Universe
Just as a moment of serendipity, I've just got back from the hospital because I've developed some pretty nifty heart problems thanks to my ME and the useless doctors I had for the first three years of the illness, whose lack of useful or even informed advice has caused me to hurt my heart.
Chapman and Farrell have just published a piece on Wessely's "retirement" from the field of CFS research - go to Read ME UK Events WordPress, "Professor Simon Wessely: Retired, tired or hired?"
We were all lazy fuckers as children who grew up to be 'A' type personalities and tried too hard to do too much.
Later we got 'bit ill' and tried to exercise the illness away because of our fucked up personality traits.
This lead to CFS (ME) and we became lazy bastards because we were bedridden and we should get up off our arses, aknowledge our 'abberant illness beliefs' and exercise so that we may be well again.
There is such a thing as righteous anger. We should storm the RSM and kick over all the tables and unplug all their laptops (vague Dylan + biblical reference)
So the medical fascist (Wessely) says people shouldn't exercise when fatigued because of their abnormal illness beliefs may lead to developing CFS?
Rather than the truth of a virus/genetic factors leading on to cause CFS and not peoples minds.
Incredible. The next thing he'll say is Diabetics shouldn't eat sugar, because they'll get high blood sugar (not because of food), but because of their minds, THINKING, they'll get high blood sugar!
Don't forget people who continue to work when they are tired- ie the entire population who can't sit on their bottoms all day thinking crap. (P.S. Please don't post nasty things about Mr. Wessely- he worked hard to get where he is today, he got fatigued, but alas ME is NOT fatigue so he should be ok)
Brilliant! And then there was that study a while back saying children who hadn't got enough exercise were more likely to develop ME in later life - one day they'll make their frigging minds up. I'm w'm thinking they might just disppear up their own fat-cat arses eventually.
My head is spinning with the endless contradictions and I was already dizzy from the ME....
Slimon Wessely is a twerp.

So - the argument is:
We were all lazy fuckers as children who grew up to be 'A' type personalities and tried too hard to do too much.
Later we got 'bit ill' and tried to exercise the illness away because of our fucked up personality traits.
This lead to CFS (ME) and we became lazy bastards because we were bedridden and we should get up off our arses, aknowledge our 'abberant illness beliefs' and exercise so that we may be well again.
And if this doesn't work it's our fault...
